The flies really arent that bad. The trout have loved them. One did wear out after landing two trout but another took a hammering and has held up. They look good and apparently look good to the trout. For the value you cant go wrong in my opinion.

Just getting started with this kit, but after a day of fishing with some, they have held up just like new, and the trout loved them. Maybe the better fly fishers out there can find something wrong with them but if you're like me and are gonna tie a knot wrong or lose a couple to the trees in a day of fishing, these are exactly what you need.

still making my way through the selection to test out but catching fish on some of the flies that I've tried, so far so good, want to test more but have some go-to's that always work and not a lot of time for testing new ones - the wooly buggers from this kit are great, same with the copper john versions of flies, looking forward to trying more of the topwater stuff..

This is a pretty sweet box. Flies ranging from nymphs to streamers but I would have to say the “dry flies” this box comes with is a little MEH. All the flies are tied relatively well but the materials in the dry fly aren’t stiff enough to stay on top of the water. But for the price I can’t complain. The box is sweet roughly around the size of my iPhone but the clear sides is a huge perk. definitely waterproof dropped it in a the lake and it was bone dry. Because the dry flies weren’t working to well (sinking almost every cast) I tied on a black beaded wooly bugger and got 5 pickerel in about 20 minuets. Overall I would absolutely recommend this box . I will be adding better dry flies but so far it’s doing the job

This thing comes with a pretty neat pocket sized case and an assortment of flies that will catch sunfish and small bass (maybe trout but I'm from texas) the bees just kill it as well as some of the others.Pros: value, decent case, decent flies, just a box up fun.Cons: maybe not the best flies and the fish tear them up eventually but who cares as long as you are catching fish... it's a good thing in a way.

Very nice box. Bought it because the local fly shops have overpriced fly boxes because they are logoed. Think 15 buck or higher over priced. This is the same box but I could sticker it as I pleased. Very water proof. Latches stay shut and, importantly, do not pop off. Sturdy. Excellent size. I am thinking it's time for another one.

Great item! I’m not much of a fisher myself but I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend and he really seemed to enjoy it. The only thing I will say is that the photo made it appear as if the kit was a lot larger than it actually is but I didn’t pay much attention to the dimensions when ordering the product so that’s moreso a buyers mistake than that of the seller.

I’m writing this review because the product information is misleading. when initially selecting this product for purchase, I read the description carefully and it was unclear if it would come with flies included. But the customer reviews and the description of the product indicated it would. I ordered it anyway. It took weeks to arrive and when finally came there indeed were no flies that came with the box. I believe it’s a language translation issue. The box itself is of good quality.
