To the 4 people who reviewed before me, thank you. Your comments motivated me to buy this book and it was well worth it! There is something very interesting and satisfying about reading real life stories of how Feng Shui was applied to changing current situations. There are creative enhancements and cures, which do not necessarily follow textbook guidelines. That makes for great fun in thinking how to apply such creativity to your own home! The number one motivation for most of us working with Feng Shui is to improve our careers and finances. The case studies are all about these two issues, and the material is presented with great color, photos, illustrations, and excellent paper quality. The book you will reach for again and again. I like having a book that I will read more than once, because it is in fact, like a referral!

This book opens the door to feng shui -- I have used it repeatedly through the years that I've owned it. If you have additional questions, it points you to other resources, as well as giving you key words for further study. There is logic in feng shui as well as tradition -- good points to ponder, carefully presented, even for the skeptic.

Love the story telling format in this book...makes it easier to comprehend and implement.

I already owned, and had read, the paperback version of this book. Filled with success stories to inspire the would be practitioner of Western Style Feng Shui. This is not so much of a how to manual - for that you should buy Terrah's first book - The Western Guide To Feng Shui.I downloaded the Kindle version, to read using the Kindle app on my ipad. I am sorry to say the Kindle version is disapointing - the formatting isn't great - for example certain words are broken by a 4 or 5 character space. Hyphenation is inconsistent. I wonder if this is a scan of an earlier manuscript than the version we experience in the hardback. Numerous sections suffer from ugly scanning artefacts - i.e. large blobs, thankfully these don't hinder comprehension, but do reduce the reading pleasure. I'd be willing to bet this version was literally scanned from a printed manuscript, whereas if the publisher cared - they would have rendered a proper E-Book\Kindle format.My rating would have been a 4 out of 5 star, and I was tempted to be really harsh with a 1 for the poor scanning. However, I have settled on a 3. Remember my review relates only to the Kindle version, by all means buy the hardback or paperback version.It's a cheap purchase, and that's what pulled my rating back to a 3. It's readable in the Kindle version if that's your only way of accessing this book.

Great range of stories that give you lots of ideas and inspirations for things you could do to improve your own living/work spaces. I like that it doesn't go really deeply and overwhelmingly into all the intricate little details that traditional feng shui can feel too bogged down with, coming at it from a beginners/Western point of view. I want to be able to do some things to benefit myself with feng shui without having to study the damn stuff for years before I start, so this book was perfect. Highly recommended.

I love this book and highly recommend it. It is focused on increasing your prosperity, but part of being prosperous is having balance in your life, so the book makes sure to touch on all other areas of your life, as well. Very nicely written, lots of examples, very easy to apply tips and recommendations.
