I have always been a KONG collar but for my dogs, but the prices are getting so high, I had to find an alternative. Now I’ve had dogs for over 20 years so I know collars, and in those 20 years unfortunately I’ve never been able to find anything as durable as KONG collars. BUT, when I saw the beauty I was curious, and I have to say it was not for nothing. This BLACK RHINO collar had me from “Hello!”.This collar had a large, heave clip, strong nylon strap that had tee forced stitching, and a nice thick D clip for the leash. This collar was better than the last collar I bought from the previous brand at less than a third of the price.I am no a convert and will be purchasing BLACK RHINO collars for the rest of my crew in the near future!

My dogs are wicked pullers. These collars stay put, don't give with all the pulling. Being a little wider they are also easier on my dogs necks.

Sturdy design with reflective materials sewn in. Wish it was US made. The blue one was right size, but made too wide.

The hardware is quite heavy but the lining is soft and non-irritating

I purchased this collar for the neoprene as my short haired Weimaraners need this material. Unfortunately as you will see in the pictures, my one weim’s neck has been completely worn from the metal clasp. The neoprene should extend under the clasp to avoid the metal rubbing on the dogs skin. If you have long haired dogs, this may not be a problem, but for my short haired guys, I’ll be going back to the other brand that had neoprene all the way around the inside of the collar to avoid this. Fix this issue and the collar will be amazing!!

The buckle is a bit heavy compared to my dogs previous collar. She doesn't seem to complain. We keep the collar relatively loose tho. I saw a lot or complaints from the images. She doesn't pull when leash walked but we also primarily walk her using a harness. The collar is just for her tags.

Great durable dog collar!

I have a rambunctious set of pups a German Shepard mix who is now 9 months still learning and a 5 year old Pitbull mix who hasn't calmed down lol they are tough pups and roll around in the dirt and can be completely uncoordinated and this chaos has caused collars to get damaged, torn, drastically discolored, etc.I purchased a different collar at the same time for my GSD and right away it started tarnishing, the band became even more discolored even after a wash it looked very well used however, the Pitts looks brand new basically it obviously got a little dusty (AZ what do expect) and bath day came and scrubbed it with his shampoo and and rinsed it hung it to dry and looks like I just took it out of the package.The inner side of this is really smooth and slightly cushioned and he has calmed down on scratching his neck significantly even with this being a bit heavier than any of his others it has clearly more comfortable for him stays cleaner and stays in much better condition than any collar either of them had even better than her baby Kong collar.I will be getting this again for my gsd for sure. Highly durable and very sharp looking.

My dog was happy to have a new soft inside collar!! It fits well and seem good quality!!
