6 Piece Japanese Cast Iron Pot Tea Set Black w/Trivet (26 oz)

Got this for my wife. Best week of tea she’s ever had. Great pot and cute little shot cups. Good quality and pretty. I’d recommend it if you like it. Just a passing fad for her though. Looks nice chilling above the espresso machine.

This pot is the perfect size for a late night or early morning cup of tea for one or two people. The pot itself and the cups are well-made heavy and something I think that would last you a lifetime if you take care of it. As for the green coating on the pot it’s nicely done and I think people just need to be aware that it’s not some thing you could submerged in water and use soap on, the outside is meant to just be wiped down so as long as you handle it properly I think it will be fine. But even as it ages and the green wears I think because of the design of the pot it will look beautiful forever.

I shopped long and hard to find the perfect tea pot, and finally chose this set. It was exactly what I wanted and more. The pot is the size I wanted in order to make 2-3 mugs of tea at a time. The heavy cast iron keeps the tea warm and the included trivet is a nice extra. The pot includes an infuser which was not clear from the description, so I was relieved when it arrived with one. I prefer larger mugs of tea, so I do not use the included cups--but they look nice on the shelf with the pot. The design of the pot is just right aesthetically and functionally. I could not be more pleased.

The cast iron stays in good shape after multiple uses as long as you don't wash it with soaps or abrasive chemicals. It's heavy, sturdy, and feels authentic. Definitely impresses guests as well. It leaves no lingering smell or taste in your brew like the coated ones. 10/10 recommend!

I love the color and sturdiness of the product. The only thing I didn't LOVE was that I didn't realize it is smaller than I had originally imagined. My 5 yo daughter commented that the cups were her size. Other than that, I LOVE the green color of it. I think it will go well and get used with in our kitchen.

This exceeded all of our expectations. It makes a great cup of jasmine tea and is beautiful enough to be on display in our living room when it isn't being used. It is a complete set at a great price. One of our favorite Amazon purchases.

The tea set is very nice to look at on its own. But what I like best is the mindset it introduces in me to keep the environ clutter free to focus attention on the set. It is easy to brew tea and to clean it afterward. What I forgot to pay attention to is that the cast iron cups tend to become hot (obviously!) but that would feel good in winter!!! The trivet is especially useful as I heat the water in the pot and leave it on the counter while drinking the tea - it forms an integral part of the whole.
