I really enjoyed this product! I was a star wars character for halloween and this went super well. The only thing that I got confused with was how to turn the sound off! It took me like 12 times to figure out what to do with it but I finally got it. I got a ton of compliments on them and it worked super well with my costume. One little part broke on it, but I glued it back together so it wasn't the end of the world. I was also using it to have a light saber fight with someone but that's beside the point. Would totally recommend to friends!

I bought these for my five year old son as a Christmas present. I didn’t want the licensed Disney or Hasbro retractable ones, in my mind those looked like they would break easily. These were just what I was looking for and didn’t seem as cheap in quality as the retractable, but boy oh boy was I SO wrong. This was my sons favorite gift. When he turned the first one on he played with it for about half an hour, while swinging it around he hit it on the couch a single time and it was fine. I was pleased that it seemed strong and well made. He turned the second one on and with two swings, not making contact with anything at all, it snapped. He was so upset as he had been asking Santa for lightsabers for six months. I order an exchange thinking one must have been defective. The replacement arrived two days later, my son was now happy and ready to continue his Jedi training. We opened the box and to my surprise and my sons complete devastation one lay in the box broken, the other with a large dent close to the top. I will never recommend these to anyone. I decided to give the retractable ones a try. My advice, go with the retractable Hasbro or Disney licensed lightsabers, they can handle being swung around, like a lightsaber should, and also rough fights between darth vader, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo!

My son is a big Star Wars fan, and has gotten several light sabers over the years. These have held up the best of any. They don’t collapse, which makes them much stronger! Only complaint is the sound doesn’t shut off easily. You have to keep pushing the button until it cycles through, which can be annoying. But, otherwise it’s held up great and my son loves it!

I know it’s early in the year yet, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to get these lightsabers for the kids for Xmas. I think they’re a little shorter than the regular toy ones you normally find, and they’re certainly too short/small if you’re thinking of using them as a prop for an adult costume. However they definitely look more realistic than any I’ve seen in the toy section of any department store. The outermost enclosure is very clear plastic, and then there are LEDs inside a secondary enclosure. In the dark that creates a really cool and realistic effect. The sound effects are a little annoying to me, but I guess for young kids they’re going to be great. The button on the handle cycles the lightsaber through different colors and sound effects, and there is one setting that is just light and no sound (my favorite). These take 3 AAA batteries and at least to me it didn’t seem that obvious where the other two batteries were supposed to go, so I’ve uploaded a photo to illustrate that, I hope it helps. At this point the hardest part is going to be keeping them well-hidden for the next 60 days or so.

20 dollars down the drain. Please do not buy this. The description says epic battle but if you plan on buying this, do not have an epic battle. Me and my brother had a battle and the entire part of the saber above the handle fell right off. The light quality, even in the dark, is very bad and not even close to a Star Wars lightsaber, and the sound quality is even worse. Do not buy this product and waste 20$.

So if you want these for a bday party Favor type of thing that’s ok. If you actually expect something good quality this isn’t it, which should be obvious by the price. They work ok. They’re loud and A bit hard to turn off. My girls (3&5 yrs old) broke them right out of the box. The plastic covering over the lights broke in a minute. They’re still working as far as light and sounds. This is fine for me because I figured they’d lose interest quickly anyways and I’d just end up tossing them. The jagged broken plastic cover may cut someone. I’d say if you’re looking for something to last longer than a few days then Definitely buy something else.

Our family dressed in Star Wars theme this year, and even though it's almost a month past Halloween, these sabers are still played with almost daily in our home. They are durable enough where my kiddos (including a 5-year-old) can have pretend battles where they (gently) hit sabers, which makes the sabers change color. The colors are bright, and the sound effects are fun. Even better...the sound can be muted!I will say that our first set was bent and didn't quite work right, but I was able to exchange them for a new set with no hassle. The replacement set works perfectly. Highly recommend for any Star Wars fan.

I could not pass this up! Not only is it a great price for a double light saber...but when they are separate both of my boys can play! It is really easy enough to attach it as a double light saber, which my boys love! It is also very cool that they make noise and change color. My youngest is a huge fan of Star Wars, and we have gone through many sabers. It isn't easy to find one this nice for such a great price. I am very happy with this purchase!

Lots of cool features: sound effect; different color available; different effect when hit. Just be careful it is not designed for battle. Please use it gently.

The product (Christmas gift) was like if it was picked up from the tip and packaged & sent to me … it was not only broken but it had scratches like it had been scraped on concrete or a hard wall!! It was bent and even the broken pieces were not present ??Weeks of waiting only to receive something that only overloaded my bin this year.
