Best potatoes for fries
I was surprised that the potatoes were from a farm in the midwest. I had thought that they would be coming from a more local farm in West Winfield NY. Not a problem, just wondering how I got the impression it was a different source. I assume the potatoes are the correct variety. I wouldn't be able to tell a bintje from a Yukon Gold. Just hoping to make some Belgian-style french fries!

Taste great!
These were decent. Planting 1Lb yielded about 10lbs+ so I can't complain. They are not the most fungal resistant varietal as I had to throw away approximately 1Lb of yield due to rot.I'll quarter these and/or leave the small ones whole and wrap them in a pan with foil, butter and garlic powder and then seal it up and toss it into the BBQ smoker for the last 3 hours of whatever I'm cooking. it's a crowd favorite. My wife has requested I grow these again.

Dud Spuds
Although these seed potatoes arrived with perfect timing, the end results were a major disappointment. I planted some in potato bags and some in a dedicated garden. My end result? One big potato and 42 little pebbles. I had better results with a cheapo bag of potatoes from the grocery store.

Decent potatoes, but would expect better.
About 20% of the potatoes were moldy or rotten, 80% were sprouting and usable. A little disappointing, but since I still have a good number to plant, I rated it as "Okay". The last batch I bought was much better.

Fabulous Bintje Potatoes
I grew these last year after reading about them in the WSJ & loved them . Fried , baked or boiled always great . I finished them off at thanksgiving , mashed . I thought that the shipping was steep , but they came Priority Mail in 1/2 the time I expected . My new crop is already up & I have started hilling them . Looking forward to the new harvest !

These need to be planted pretty soon after being received.
I planted these and they seem to be germinating well. I waited a bit too long to plant them. Some turned mushy. The others have started to grow well.
