PTZ WiFi IP Camera 1080P HD Dome Camera,4x Optical Smart 265 Home Security Camera for Indoor and Outdoor, IP66 Waterproof Built-in SD Card Slot

Following and incident outside my house with a delivery driver and damaged goods which if I had a CCTV camera would have made things easier I decided it was time to look for a CCTV Camera for home.My requirements were:-It should be discreet,Continuously recordCapture recordings to a SD card.Utilise WiFi to be able to access the recordingsOnly require power but not requiring PoE (Power over Ethernet)Could be fixed to a soffit just under the the gutter.There weren't many cameras that ticked all these boxes but I found this camera after a bit of searching and decided to give it a go, at the same time I purchased an 12v extension lead and Micro SD card.Setting up the Camera was easy enough if you use the Ethernet cable supplied straight into your router before installing the camera where you want it.The actual Installation was straight forward except for running the power cable in my loft which was a real pain given where I wanted to mount the camera but that was my problem.The CamHipro App which can be downloaded from the App Store is good, although the descriptions/instructions of what each function does is a little light in places most are obvious but others take some trial and error.After installing the camera where I wanted it (see picture) all was working fine and then the dome got damaged by the window cleaner I think it was from a chemical and it made the lens blurry.So please be mindful of the dome when cleaning, do not use any chemicals just a cloth!!Consequently I had a useless Camera, so I decided to contact YoLuke support which I guess are based in China.I emailed them and explained that the camera dome got damaged and could I purchase a replacement.. Sunny the contact at YoLuke got back to me the very next day and offered to send out a replacement dome free of charge which was extremely good of them as the damage was my fault. The replacement dome turned up just 10 days after first contacting their support team . I have to say that is very good service.I have to say that its an excellent bit of kit for the price and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of their cameras.When you look at how much a CCTV system can cost these cameras are excellent value and more than enough for your home security requirements, you may need more than one camera, but the APP can handle multiple cameras.

The picture is great but there are other plus points that made me really please I bought it.The microphone is very sensitive. I can turn the volume up on the recordings and hear the clock on the wall ticking.It has auto-focus which keeps the image in focus without constantly blurring in and out (I didn’t see anything about the auto-focus in the spec but you can also manually adjust the focus in the web interface)I set this camera up next to another camera I own just to compare images and I was surprised to discover that the size of the recording files are half the size with this camera and with a better quality picture. I guess it has superior compression even though they are both 265.I use the camera with Synology Surveillance Station - all the functions are working well. It auto discovered the camera and settings using ONVIF. Please note I had to update my Surveillance Station version from 8.2.7-6222 to 8.2.8-6334 which has only just been released on 14th July 2020. (At the moment that version is a manual download from the Synology web site not yet visible in the Synology console). The support guys on [email protected] replied quickly on this for me.The web interface on the camera is easy to use and much faster than my other cameras.The case is a sturdy metal construction.

After using this camera for 1 week this is what I liked about it:- Looks really good, easy to attach under the roof. Exactly what I wanted in my case- You cannot see where the camera is pointing. Exactly the reason why i got it- You can record into mini SD card, alarm motion, continous recording and other settings via camhi camera- Has motion alarms, so when motion gets triggered it automatically can play the sound or prerecorded custom message- Customer service quick to helpThis I didn't like about it:- It is advertise as two way talk, but not that you need to get additional speaker in order for it to make sound. So you cannot just use it for two way talking, because of this it cannot play prerecorded sound or noice when motion detected to deter anyone- Motion did not trigger sometimes. Happened few times when it failed to capture motion even on the highest setting- Had a feeling that camera would be simply sleeping sometimes - example would be lost motion detection, gaps in continuous recording.- Sometimes it detecs motion but when you look for recorded video in the SD card - it is not there- Night vision was ok, but for me worked on "color" mode only. If you put "night vision [black/white]" then the infrared lights bounced into it's own glass chield of the camera- Camera would restart daily at 2am for some reason. Support advised that it is a setting which i can switch off by isntall windows software via CD-ROM. I don't have CD-ROM so couldnt disabled that.- Overall was expecting much more of this camera for the price paid and performance is not so good- The attempts to influence my review by customer care

I'm new in to CCTV and it took ages to find what I was looking for, a PTZ outdoor camera was what I wanted as I don't really want people to know where the camera faces (as bullet camera) and also wanted to be able to move it how I want it if for example I'll park my car not in a regular space. Bought this and so far, can say - easy setup, load of options, fantastic quality - build metal body and sharp images. Also, capability to plug 128GB SD card! 1 thing suggested to YoLuke is to maybe add a cloud storage capability so that without any third-party software camera would send video records straight in to the google-drive or anything similar, but rather than that, very happy with purchase. Almost forgot, night vision is wonderful, street is a bit lit, but tried in a dark room, and it works perfect! Got a microfon to record sound also :) network connection stable. 5 star!
