Premier Braided Leather Dog Leash 6/8/10 ft for Strong Medium Large Dogs, Leather Heavy Duty Training Leash (10FT)

I had this tied to a post with my Newfoundland on the other end, when a small dog went by and started barking at my dog, he bolted and the lead snapped in two like it was paper.

I ordered the 10 ft small leash. The leash is actually 8ft. Otherwise I would give it five stars. It looks great and feels good to the hand out of the package. The hardware is quite sturdy, although it is heavy duty and heavier than I wanted for ny Papillon. That is why I ordered small, expecting the hardware to be a smaller and lighter weight. I think the quality is great and it is my favorite leash. I wanted at least 10 ft so that I could let him explore , run and play at the park on our walks. The heavy hardware and short length is a disappointment.

The leather is soft but sturdy, I have an 85 lb dog that can pull sometimes. The brass clasp to hook on a harness or collar, is very nice, not a cheap slide hook clasp like others. Worth the money and really for the quality, was not that much

Soft and sturdy lead . I have a 100lb Great Pyrenees who likes walk in the tall grass while I prefer not to . The length gives him plenty of room to explore and sniff and I stay safely on the path . It is soft on my hands and and doesn't feel cheap or thin . Love the smell of real leather .

Great leash, everything I needed but wrong length!I ordered a 10'/9.6', got a 8.2'.Amazon customer service sent a replacement, unfortunately the one I received was also the wrong size, 8.2'

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is no leather leash is chew proof.

Sturdy!

I love the 10 feet leash. Now when I walk my lab I can stand on the sidewalk , look innocent while he goes to bathroom in someone's yard.
