Easy on stomach
I went through a five month period of time where I couldn't eat solid food. Eating would cause extreme stomach pain and vomiting. Desperate for nourishment, I tried this because it was developed by a gastroenterology clinic and uses pea protein. Whey and soy protein hurt my stomach. I was so relieved the first time I drank this that it did not cause pain. I was finally able to consume something packed with nutrition that didn't cause pain. It does not have a lot of calories so I had to drink it frequently to slow my weight loss. The unfortunate part about that is this stuff taste terrible. The pea flavor is overwhelming - does not taste like chocolate AT ALL. I gagged so much drinking that i learned to make it thin and just chug it. Regardless, I am thankful that it provided me with nutrition without triggering stomach pain.

It's okay
Taste was fine. I've tasted a lot of protein powders. Can't have dairy, soy or egg so I was really hoping to like this. Unfortunately, it's sweetened with some cane sugar, which I have a food sensitivity to. So, the first half of a 40 day fast and using this product, didn't help me. Just wish I would have read the ingredients more closely. It did, however, make me aware of just what kind of effect sugar has on me. For that, I'm thankful. I replaced it with 22 Days protein powder (chocolate). Tastes like a Wendy's frosty. I was really shocked at how good it was. Hadn't had something taste that good since Jay Robb protein, which I can't have anymore due to allergies :-(

GREAT PRODUCT
This is an amazing product that both my wife and I used during a prescribed 28-day modified elimination diet (detox) to control triglycerides, cholesterol and a host of other intestinal issues. It was a little tough to use for the first three days because the prescribed detox program did not come accompanied with any recipes or eating suggestions. We had to do some serious and quick research to get ourselves going; but we did it. It worked wonders. My triglycerides and "bad" cholesterol got back to normal ranges. Although my wife did not experience any weight loss she experienced a lot of improvements with intestinal issues. I also lost 12 pounds in the process. We then consulted with our doctor and he suggested we do a 14-day detox every 6 to 8 months. We now use this formula at least 3 times per week after workouts and whenever we are in hurry to do something in the morning. However, for these instances we do not use this formula necessarily as a detox. My wife adds to the blend a variety of frozen fruits that contains a lot of antioxidants along with the doctor recommended Almond Milk (unsweetened) to make the shake. This product is packed with 26 grams of protein and when combined with the fruits and Almond milk we get a total of 28 grams of protein. It is an outstanding shake to get your body recover after a workout. It is a quick and easy to make breakfast. Do not get discouraged by the "IntestiCleanse" caption on its name. It is indeed beneficial and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with triglycerides, cholesterol, or intestinal issues. BUT, simply, we recommend it to anyone.

Didn't work
Didn't work for me. My functional medicine doc put me on Xymogen, which worked great at clearing up intestinal issues I'd had for years. Due to the price, I stopped taking it. When the intestinal issues returned, decided to try this. The Xymogen had worked previously in about 3 days. With this I waited, and waited, and nothing. So I bought another container of Xymogen, and within 2 days of switching to that instead--bingo, everything cleared up again. Too bad, because I would have loved this to work.

It gives me a good protein start for the day
I use your product for my breakfast. It gives me a good protein start for the day, as well as being good for my entire system. In fact, one of my doctors introduced me to this product a few years ago. I am unhappy though, that when I last ordered, I saw that your Chocolate flavored product has been removed and replaced with Vanilla and Chai, neither of which I care for. I ordered the vanilla, and will add cocoa to it until I find a replacement Chocolate Product. Please put the chocolate flavor back on your Amazon offerings.

Fantastic, knowledgeable customer service
I just ordered this! Five stars because I called the customer help number with a deluge of questions - and the owner answered and was so informative and committed to providing a great product. I was comparing this to A pedi you made by a competitor that is more expensive but identical. My physician recommended the ingredients. The difference is this does NOT have rice in it - it's pure pea protein - whereas the the other product has rice as well as pea protein. Since I'm avoiding grains this is especially great. Plus the pea protein has more fiber than rice alone (be warned - may take some getting used to)! I was so impressed with the customer attention and how knowledgeable all the answers were. You can tell this company stands by its products. I have been grain free, dairy free, alcohol free, processed food and sugar free - and some of my auto-immune symptoms have disappeared. So... I'm sticking to this plan for now. Thanks for the option of these quality ingredients and an even better-sounding formula for those of us avoiding grains.

Not what I hoped for
I REALLY wanted to like this alternative to the OptiCleanse, this should be labeled "Tumeric Flavored" not a trace of vanilla on my palate, so strong it burns my tongue a bit, I'll be going back to the expensive brand for the flavor :(
