0 Protege Hardshell Case with Humidifier for Nylon String Guitars, Full Size, Classical/Flamenco, Black (ACHUMPR-04072), 4/4, 7/8 (98-034-0300)

I purchased the Humicase Protégé classical/flamenco guitar case for a Cordoba C7 classical guitar that I recently purchased. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Cordoba will extend their standard 3 year guitar warranty to a lifetime warranty if you purchase this case and store your guitar in it.The case I ordered came from Chicago Music Exchange. It arrived well-packaged and without any shipping damage. The case I received was very solid in construction and has 4 metal latches to secure the lid. The case can be locked with provided keys, but I see no value in this as someone who is determined to open this case will get it open whether it is locked or not. Despite being manufactured in China, this case appears to be of high quality. I have had no issues with the lid not lining up with the rest of the case as reported by another reviewer. The interior has a beautiful fabric lining, and there is a storage box that both supports the neck of the guitar and allows storage of my digital tuner and other small items. My Cordoba guitar fits very snuggly in this case, which I believe is intentional to keep the guitar from flopping around in the case. Unlike the description provided by others, my case has only one humidifier which is located right above the sound hole of the guitar. The humidifier is a removable round plastic container with a thin sponge inside. You simply moisten the sponge with distilled water and put it in the holder to provide humidification for your guitar. It is easy to remove and replace.This is an expensive guitar case compared with others advertised on Amazon for purchase. I think this case is worth its extra cost, though, as it is very solid in construction, will protect your guitar well against damage, and has a built-in humidification system to help keep it from cracking. If you purchase this case when you purchase a Cordoba guitar you can extend your guitar warranty to a lifetime warranty. If you own any nice classical guitar and are looking for a good quality storage case this is well worth consideration.

Just received the HumiCase Protege Classical/Flamenco Guitar Case Black. It is beautiful and sturdy. It fits my Cordoba C7 CD perfectly. It fits in it snugly and the guitar is not sliding around in the case or anything like that. Calido Guitars did an outstanding job in packaging the guitar case. They included a hand written thank you note and included a couple of gifts. Calidoguitars.com is one of the retailers I checked that have this guitar case available. Excellent customer service. I wish I had bought my guitar from them. Good job Calido Guitars!

I mostly decided on this case because I knew my Cordoba would fit snugly and that I would get a lifetime warranty from Cordoba for the guitar. Having said that, the case seems to be well very constructed and priced about right. The humidifier is a nice touch. This was my first purchase from Calido Guitars via Amazon. They were first rate.

ordered this from Amazon through Musician's Friend and it arrived in three days. very happy about that.i never thought my Cordoba GK Studio could look better than it already does, but when it's in this case it looks extraordinary and that appreciation is tempered with knowing that my guitar is safe and sound.the case is black and beautiful. the lining is very plush. the 7 ply hardwood case is very solid and heavy. my Cordoba GK Studio fits in it like a glove. the latches are all solid and the binding is tight.the humicase activation fluid is no problem whatsoever to saturate the enclosed holders with and they fit snuggly into the case. make sure to dry them off thoroughly before installing. there is also a hygrometer available from Cordoba that displays the humidity and temperature. this will be my very next purchase.i've only had the case a couple of days now however, i can honestly say that the GK Studio has responded favorably from the proper conditioning this case provides.as a fringe benefit to Cordoba guitar owners. if you purchase one of these within a week of purchasing your guitar Cordoba will upgrade your three year warranty to a lifetime warranty. this in itself is worth the price of admission.those of us in the know know you should have a hardshell case for your prized guitar investment and this case just plain makes sense to buy.

What a great guitar case! And I feel relieved that my guitar is safe from the severe dryness we experience here in the high rockies. Such a nice design, very heavy duty and protective. Handsome, too. I've gotten compliments from other musicians in our community. The humidifier part (a sponge in an inset unit, basically) is so easy to re-soak in water and place back in the case. I just check it every 3-4 days for moisture, and that seems to be plenty.

The case is very good looking and sturdy. It has two humidifiers. One is over the sound hole and one is under the headstock. This case is a must for anyone that has a solid wood guitar, especially if you live up north where it gets very dry indoors due to the heat being on during the colder months.

This is a very nice case. It keeps my guitar safe around the house and I love that it has a lock. The lock is great because it helps keep the kids away from the guitar, it saved my instrument a few times. Inside is very very soft, great product.

This case fit my Cordoba C5-E like a glove. The humidifier sponge is a bit tough to get soaked but it does the job. I use distilled water.
