CuteyCo Gummy Pets – Make Your Own Gummy Kit – Activity for Children

My family really enjoyed making gummies with this kit. My daughter's favorite shape was the unicorn and my son's was the dog but all the shapes were super cute!We tried the stove top method first and it worked great. The microwave method was so easy the kids (10 and 7 years old) made the next two batches themselves!The ingredients were similar to jello even though the texture is definitely a gummy candy texture. We decided to store them in the fridge until the kids were ready to eat them. I am not sure if this is necessary.The fruit punch was my favorite flavor. My daughter had fun experimenting and mixed grape and cherry and added sour. She was the only one that ate those gummies lol.My son made lime and added a lot of sour, they both ate those but commented on the fact that he dumped in too much sours mix.The kids had a fantastic time making the gummies. For me the flavors were a little strong but the kids loved them and had such a fun time coming up with different flavor combinations.The kids were most excited about the fun animal shapes so it makes me very happy that the mold is reusable. The kids are so excited to make even more gummies this weekend!

This is a fun, quick, and relatively easy project to complete with your children of almost any age. My 5- and 6-year-olds loved it (although one of them didn't like the taste ... she thought the cherry was too sour, even without the sour, and we had put "sour" with the rest of them, so she didn't like any of it). Everyone else loved them, even if they were a little sticky/messy!One thing to note is that you will want to do just one batch at a time, because each batch will fill up the tray, and it takes at least 30 minutes to set.The tray is adorable and the pets are really cute and just like giant gummy candy.This was a fun way to spend a weekend afternoon with kids. They loved it, and they also got to learn about measuring (1/4 cup water, 4 teaspoons gelatin, 3 Tbsp sugar, etc.). I would recommend this to anyone with kids!!

I bought this because I thought it would be a fun, and delicious, activity to do with my 5 year old and 2 year old.We had a great time making the gummies and I thought the molds were really cute. Sadly, the gummies were not very tasty.As an American, it may be that they need more sugar 😜. I may try this kit again with some modifications to the recipe.

This was such a fun activity! Even though the box says 6+, I did it with my almost-4yo and she loved it. It was incredibly easy to do and super easy cleanup. The mixture does have a bit of an odd smell to it, but don't be too put-off by it. They still tasted fine (especially with the sour flavoring added in!). Great activity for little bakers and for teaching counting and measuring, and you get 4 full batches out if the box so it's a great value too! I'm excited to try more flavors!

This was a fun little project to do with my daughter. She enjoyed picking colors and stirring the mixture. Then looking at and choosing the different molds! These weren't overly sweet or sour so that was great.Our package didn't have the directions initially included. I contacted customer service and it was resolved in a few emails!

My daughter was so excited for this. It’s a really great concept. Unfortunately it was pretty messy and tasted just off.

My kids had so much fun making these cute little gummies. The instructions were easy to follow with a grown-up’s help and there were a variety of flavors (sweet and sour) you could mix and match. We have done other candy making kits before, but they don’t have as many flavor options and it’s a great price for the amount of gummies you can make. Plus, the animal molds are adorable: kitten, dog, unicorn, penguin, bunny and bear.

It is a fun activity for the entire family. The directions are easy to follow. For younger kids, adult supervision is necessary, as boiling water is needed; but for teenagers, it can easily be completed unassisted. The gummy pets are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this kit.
