Product performed perfectly ! After much on-line research / as a skilled DIYer, I chose this Plaster.try to apply the 1st layer the thickest, 2nd layer slightly thinner, 3rd layer thinest. Just remember you are smearing (over lapping) layers... and hopefully having fun.The calculation chart for this product very accurate.I have to mention the FREE youtube info from: Gian Carlo Sagasti Exotic Wall Finishes, Ron Layman, & Giorgio Graesan. These 3 are the KINGS! Without their Youtube videos, I would not have gained the knowledge & courage to apply this myself. I practiced on about 6 sample 2ft x 2ft of drywall first. After all the studying, My basement is now Sexy, Classy, & Elegant. Some walls are not meant for Paint. My badement deserves a stone appearance.my walls look great! Love love this stuff. I've used fake venetian plaster from the big box store for years. I wish I would have used this instead. It's beautiful,has a buttery consistency such makes it easy to apply. I had a few questions and they were answered promptly. I really appreciated the tips. My bathroom turned out so good and I swear it gets prettier every day. Using the leftover material for an art project!

This item was not user friendly. Maybe it is just Venetian plaster in general. This all cracked. No rhyme or reason as to why it cracked. I thought, maybe it was too thick? No, it cracked in thin places and thicker places. Maybe I didn’t prep it right? No, I prepped exactly how the manufacturer suggests. Maybe this is just a product for someone with plastering experience. I had to cover my project with shiplap (which I hate) because getting these cracked layers of plaster off was nearly impossible.

I love this stuff. Relatively easy to use. Will last a lifetime. My room is beautiful. With the wax on top, I should never have to paint again!

I like this product because of its ease of use. It goes on Smoothly, and has a nice finish. The photos show Sea Pearl with a pearl topcoat.
