CISI SPORT 2 Piece Carbon Fiber Greenland Paddle with 10cm Adjuster

Good quality, great performance

This was a bit of a gamble, but with free returns I figured I couldn't loose.So taking the chance, I chose this model based the size (220-230), the loom width and the simple clamp ferrule (same as used on many wing paddles).First impression: it's very light, lighter than expected for the price.Fit and finish good, clamp works well, no hard edges. Looks to be based the the Kajaksport Inuksuk GP!In use, this paddle feels nice and balanced with a little bit of "give" over the length of the paddle.It's feels like a wood GP, but lighter and with a more "precise" feel due to the thinness of the paddle tips (made possible by the carbon construction).All in all an excellent paddle, especially considering the low price.

Only use it 3 times. The metal latch lock the position was broken. No idea how to fix it

I'm giving the paddle 5 stars because1- Arrived on time well packed2- quality is great3- comes with a little case4- Exactly as described5- middle joint that extends is goodHowever - I am not happy I did not see the paddle in a full photo because I would have purchased a different one. Traditional style greenland paddles don't taper out as quickly as these do. It's like mostly bar...and then paddle. Real Greenland paddles taper out much less and have very little bar. I'm not super into the shape or the fact that they have splash guards.I have posted full photos of the paddle so you can decide for yourself. If you like the shape, go for these. If you're looking for more traditional shapes like I was, maybe skip them and get something else.

This paddle is super light weight which on a long paddle matters. If you've never tried a Greenland-style paddle, I would highly recommend trying this.

This Greenland paddle came with drip rings. Who does that? They are situated so as not to be removed.

If you want a true greenland paddle, I recommend saving your money and spending for a true greenland paddle. The blades on these are not long enough.However, if you want a VERY light spare paddle that takes almost no space compared to a traditional paddle, this is a great option.

Bear in mind that I’m a relative newbie. Seems well made and surprisingly efficient. I bought it to use with an ultralight inflatable kayak. You pay a penalty in length compared to the more standard 4-part paddle but save weight and bulk. And if you don’t like the drip guards you can remove them.
