Don’t waste your time and money with the cheap nasty copies.

The item is g-shock branded and matched my original part as expected from the description and certainly from the price in reflection to none-branded imitation straps.My original strap failed me where the metal buckle holds onto the strap. It lasted about 3 years approximately and I wore it almost everyday including in the shower. This is the reason I replaced it and as this is an exact manufacturers part, i suspect it to fail there again in the future. (Note: the buckle didnt fail, it was the looped resin around the metal bar that split)The strap is strong and easy to fit from new.Unfortunately I think its expensive for what it is. But im of the type to get genuine replacement parts when able.I think ill take better care of this, meaning no showers for the watch, which in fairness isnt recommended under the water resistant ability of the watch, since hotter waters and soaps may have taken durability out of my original strap.Overall im happy with my strap and would recommend it.
