13 FISHING Inception Sport Z - Baitcast Reels

Day 1. The reel took a while to dial in. It does cast quite well with 30 lb braid even though 17 lb. mono would perform better.....For this reel I tightened the tensioner knob more than on my other reels, set the brakes on 6 to start and worked them back to 3.....seems good for now.... Had 1 birdsnest after about 40 casts, Guess that is OK - was really trying to hit the other side of the ocean.. Paired with a med Ugly stick 6'6" A wee bit disappointed in the packaging, the box did not hold the reel in place. Got it upside-down and the lid open...Day 4. tried 17 lb mono. NG .....returned to using 30 lb braid, this time using Suffix 832....casts perfectly. Set tensioner to a 3 second crawl.... set brakes to #2 inside cover. No issues at all, and I love the neon green color...ONE MONTH NOW SINCE MY LAST REVIEW.....Reel is holding up quite well. maintain using 30 lb braid suffix 832 in bright green. Have it now paired with a 6'7" 13 fishing Fate II rod medium in the same color bright green, very hard to find but looks great. Casts very well with hardly any backlash. Still have the spool tensioner adjusted slightly tighter than my other bait casters and the brake setting on 2. Caught a few nice size bass, some mudfish and a large tropical fish of unknown origin.

I was very excited to get a new baitcaster and this just didn't function right out of the box. I've heard good things about 13 fishing and I wasn't impressed. I bought this model and another; they were both defective in different ways. Worst part is I put line on it and wasted that money.

Took 3 casts and the reel locked solid. Would not reel in. Sent it to her fixed on my dime and they said a shim wasn’t where it was suppose to be so it got stuck in the gears and ruined the gears. Said he had other 13 fishing reels on the shelf waiting for parts and that they’ve been waiting on parts for weeks. I like my regular inception and origin and fate black and omen black rods but this is pretty bad. I wanted to get the a3 and a few concept a’s but not sure how.

I wanted to buy a 13 Fishing reel to match the rod that I won in a tourney raffle so I picked this one.... GREAT reel and the thing cast a mile!! Highly impressed with it!!!!! Simmons Outdoors is who I got it from, great folks to deal with too!!

I love the product for the most part, but $200 for mostly cheaper plastic parts was a disappointment.

The media could not be loaded.  I've posted a short clip of this reel in action. I bought it about 2 weeks ago and it worked fantastic. Now that it's got a few more casts on it the gears are starting to jam. It doesn't reel properly and is trashed now. This is not an operator error. It's a manufacturing error that is not worth the money for this reel. I highly do not recommend purchasing this reel.

Love the new czb bearings, feels solid on the retrieve and plenty of drag stopping power.

The seller shipped the product fast and came as described but 13fishing quality control is the issue here. I dislike after less than one summer of heavy fishing for bass the reel stopped working and doesn't wind anymore junk no longer buying 13

Although I'm sure this reel functions perfectly, and has all the bells and whistles just wouldn't work for me, that very bright neon green color does not sit well with my age group, sixty five years old. The reel felt very smooth, the drag was more than I needed, and the anti backlash feature, brake system did its job. Just wish it was available in black or a less subdued color. Had to return.

未使用なので外見だけで言うと艶消グリーンです。染まりが悪く下色の白が所々見えていたり黒っぽくなっていたり。国産に比べ重いです。でもデザインはカッコいいと思います。巻感はブラスギヤの為かシャリシャリは言ってないです
