The cover is fashioned from heavy book board and expertly dyed classic linen which is meticulously finished inside with mitered corners and thick, lightly ribbed cream watermarked paper. Consistent with Pierre Belvedere's 50-year tradition of creating fine stationery products, the book is generously filled with 65 sheets (100 pages) of cream acid free photo mounting board and has thick, lightly ribbed cream watermarked end pages. The pages are separated by glassine interleaving paper, all of which is bound into a classic spine. A handy photo CD pocket mounted on the inside of the back cover adds the finishing touch. Blank pages- so hard to find!!
After an exhaustive search, I'm so glad I found these on Amazon! It's very difficult and/or near impossible to find a photo album without pre-made plastic pockets. I love this album because I can put different sized photos on each page, some 5x5's and 5x7's along with the usual 4x6's, plus the occasional filmstrip from a photo booth, wallet-sized school pictures, etc. I attach them with self-adhesive photo corners. It takes more time that simply slipping photos into plastic pockets, but the personality and hand-made effect you get is worth it for me. There is also a glassine sheet bound between each page so that the photos don't stick to each other.My only regret is that there is no option with black pages. The German company that makes these appears to have a black pages album, but it is not available outside of Europe as far as I can tell. The cream pages are lovely, but I would prefer black.

great traditional photo album, great price
This is a traditional, old-fashioned photo album. It has heavy (card stock) pages with glassine interleaves to prevent face-to-face photos from sticking to each other. The size is useful for 8x10s or multiple 4x6s, or for scrapbooking if you prefer. The cover is linen, which means the album is much less expensive than its leather competitors. I've been looking all over for an album of this type, which used to be all over the place but is now difficult to find and expensive. The Semikolon album suits me, and at $60 is a steal. It looks well-made.The cover is completely plain; I'm going to use a gold ink pen to label the spine, which I think should work.

Perfect album!!
Best albums ever! Have been using for years and you can fit 3-4 photos on each side of each page using double adhesive tabs and i love that you can write on the pages. High quality!

Gorgeous album, great quality
I spent ages looking for the right album to fit 600 printed pictures. Finally I found it - and it has a pocket at the back for the CD containing all the rest! Lovely quality, lovely colour - I know it will be something I treasure forever, which is why I was happy to pay a bit more for it.
