Great bike, good quality and customer support that is marvelous in my experience.
This is a nice bicycle. If you can get it for around $200, that is about the best I have ever seen. The quality seems good. There is some concern on tire size and finding suitable replacements. However with some google-fu and calls to bike shops, they are found within <10 minutes. Not available at walmart, but definitely far from impossible to replace.I had no choice but to test ride this bike after I assembled it, before giving it to my son. The best thing on this bike, BY FAR, is the brakes! What amazing brakes. The front nearly threw me over the bars. I was shocked, to be frank.I would not hesitate to buy this again, and again from Diamondback. I had an experience with their customer support on a road bike, and I have to say, their support is second to none. I don't know how CS could get any better than what I experienced. So definitely, but this bike!!

You don't get what you pay for.
I got this about a year ago for my son just before I got seriously injured on the job. I am finally able to complete the setup only to find a bunch of problems with this order:- for $260 on a name brand bike, you don't get even no-name quick release skewers to make loading the bike onto the vehicle or maintaining the bike that much easier- the rear brake was missing the micro-adjuster at the brake lever, which means the rear brake won't work- only ONE chainring up front- the derailleur cable was incorrectly wrapped around the headset= the front brake cable was cut too short- the wheel was not properly secured and came off while my son was practicingIn hindsight, you're better off buying a used bike for a kid until he gets much bigger. Then he or she can crash the bike all he or she wants while till they learn how to ride well. Definitely, DO NOT BUY A BIKE ONLINE. You need to be able to inspect it and hold the bike mechanic accountable for anything missing. It's your kid that will be riding this thing. They can break their neck because the mechanic didn't torque down on the wheel nut and the wheel rolled off. No wonder it isn't being sold anymore.

Good quality but heavy
Good quality, but a little heavy. I bought it for my 5.5 year old son who already rides a motorcycle but this bike was too big and too heavy for him. I read some reviews that said it is good for a six yo boy but all kids are different. My son still rides his $30 little bike from Walmart and I ride this Diamondback with him. I'm 5'5" and yes, it is a bit small for me but I make it work.

Exactly what we wanted
My 6-year-old son loves his birthday present. He's done several 5-, 8-, and 10-mile rides now that he couldn't have done on the smaller single-speed bike he had.

Great bike for my 6 year old
Great bike for my 6 year old, he can now follow me! Expensive but 20 inch hybrids are very rare. The quality of the parts is good for a bile in this price range
