This is NOT a thong or a g-string, as can be seen in MuscleMate's own product photos, as well as my own (assuming I don't have go through the usual struggle getting Amazon to accept them when they violate no community guidelines, and hopefully show how these can look on a regular guy, and not MuscleMate's 20-something fitness model lol).Amazon recommends these in a Large size for me based on my stats, but when I was putting together a larger order of thongs and g-strings, the Extra Large size (in white) just happened to be on sale for $5.99 instead of the usual $9.99. Considering the amount of material in this kind of underwear – and all thongs and g-strings for that matter – as well as where these are made, $5.00 to $6.00 should be standard price. Since MuscleMate rotates their discount through most of the colours and sizes, your best bet is to keep your size and colour in your cart until the price drops.I generally agree with the other reviewers here who suggest going up a size, as these really hug your package and behind, and can even reveal a fair amount of cheek. Even upsized, I found them a little compressive in the pouch. It's not uncomfortable, but it does tend to make me seem, visually, a little smaller than I really am. In daylight, these are a super-bright white, and very sexy. In darker atmosphere, they can be just slightly sheer in back, depending on the size of your bum (so doubling the white ones as swimwear probably isn't a good idea). None of this is a deal-breaker, though. These feel really nice.IMPORTANT NOTE: As with certain other MuscleMate thong/g-string listings, the material mix provided in the product details does NOT match what the actual product claims to be made of, at least according to the tag. On the Amazon page, these are listed as 95% premium fibre + 5% lycra. Based on a LOT of purchases of this type of underwear in recent months, I can actually FEEL that this is untrue (even though I'm not sure what 'premium fibre' they're referring to). The tag inside this bikini says 80% polyamide and 20% elastane, a mix that seems common to a lot of companies producing underwear like this. As I own a bunch now, I'm reasonably confident that this IS the actual fabric mix based on how they wear and feel. The resilient, supportive elasticity in these is excellent, and I find this material comes out of the wash/dry cycles retaining its whiteness much better than cotton blends over time.Speaking of colours, this also comes in black, red, navy blue. Based on this pair, I could see ordering additional pairs in those colours when they go on sale. Normally, I size down with thongs and g-strings because sometimes I prefer the sexy feeling that something is 'there', hugging and defining the package, and covering just enough in back. In this case, I'd probably stick to XL size for future orders, as it does all that just fine, although going down to a large is mighty tempting. :)

I originally bought one pair in black, and it was so absolutely comfortable and satisfying to wear that I bought two more pairs the next week. I've been wearing briefs my entire life, and these are a game changer. Sometimes they side up the butt crack a bit, but the overall comfortableness outweighs a little wedgy. I am considering buying more pairs as time goes on to entirely replace briefs.5'7" 120 lbs average package, bought size Medium.

I love everything about these, the fabric, the Brazilian cut. The only issue I have is the front pouch needs to be a little bit bigger. I’m 6’5 220lbs. If your package is a little larger than average, these are somewhat small. Size XXL.

Comfortable, but a bit small. Not the same as my other brands of similar products. They are shear and light, other than being a bit small, very comfortable.

I don't know why more men don't pick panties this style? It rides below my tummy so no pressure on my sensative mid section. No thong string in places that can be hard to keep clean. It just works.

Way too small up front. This product needs to be redesigned more in line with the Nightaste brand.

If you like to try different underwear and venture into new things this will be just for you, I ordered one pair as a try and plan to order a few more because they are super comfortable. It fits perfect and holds everything in place without being to tight. Try something new.

Love the material this is made of. Super soft and sexy at the same time! Runs a little small. I usually wear a 29 waist in jeans, but the medium was the right fit in this underwear.
