Nice shoes for work
Great shoes. The lining is very comfortable and helps wick moisture. I'm on my feet all day at work. These have been the best shoes I've had for work. Thought the lugs looks so aggressive they may not be good for formal occasions. The slip-resistance is really good. I've had no problems walking to and from work in the rain. Nice shoes indeed. One year on, the insole started wearing out. But the shoe itself is still very good.

The oxford version of the shoes I love.
I purchased these low quarter shoes because of my experience with their chukka version. I have to say that they are the most safe and "aggressive" pair of low quarter work shoes I have ever owned. I stated "aggressive" because, in spite of their oxford nature, these shoes get a solid grip on the ground which gives them good ankle support.I would recommend them to all law enforcement and postal workers because they also take a good shine.

Good quality shoe. Do not provide me, personally, with all day comfort but overall I'm satisfied with these.
Start off comfortable but by the end of the day feet are sore. Everyone is different and this may not be the case for you but it's what I have found to be the case with me. Quality however is definitely good. A sturdy well made shoe. Not much choice when it comes to "green tag" shoes required by the post office. Really didn't like the "old man shoe" look of the New Balance so tried these. Will try New Balance next time to compare. Price for either is way too high but they kind of have you by the nards when it comes to requiring the "green tag" so I guess it is what it is. Overall I'm happy with these shoes, maybe some insoles will help.

Do not buy.
Wore these shoes for maybe a total of 10 hours in 3 months, slowly breaking them in. Soles are already separated from the sides. Too late to return thru Amazon and beware: Rocky does not honor their warranty through other sellers. You have to buy them through Rocky directly. Link to report an issue with this product (on Amazon) is also disabled. These are the 4th pair of the same shoe that I have bought and worn over the years, and they have always held up very well in the past. Coincidentally these shoes feel different than the previous pairs. I suspect that these are manufactured somewhere else with no quality standards. $157 wasted. Will never buy Rocky brand ever again, including any of the other purpose boots that I use.

Dress shoe lacing at odds with with extreme mountaineering boot tread
I like them but there are only 4 lacing eyes and the lacing is short and starts far back from the toe. This contradicts the "mountaineering boot" tread as the lacing does not provide enough support to make more extreme terrain comfortable. I walk my dog in a steep neighborhood and some neighborhood trails get a little steep. I can try to crank the laces down but then they are not very comfortable as I have a bumps on the top of my feet. I got these over the regular Non-Plain toe "Rocky TMC Postal-Approved Public Service Shoes" because the toe looked easier to clean and those other shoes did not look to be available. But those shoes are available but with an incorrect Amazon listing name and now I own both shoe models. The Non-Plain shoes are better on steep terrain and I now use them to walk my dog and use these Plain-Toe shoes for work.

Very comfortable work shoe
Very comfortable work shoe, very hard to polish due to texture. Overall very good shoe if you spent a lot of time walking or on your feet.

This shoe was on the narrow side and not as comfortable as the Duty TMC
I purchased these at the same time as a pair of Rocky Duty Men's TMC Athletic Oxford (also through Amazon). Both are the same size, and have the same sole pattern. This shoe was on the narrow side and not as comfortable as the Duty TMC. I thought they may stretch out which they did a little, but not enough to say they are comfortable. I alternate daily between these two pair of shoes and the liner at the heel is worn through and tears up my socks after wearing them for 3 months ( 2 to 3 times a week). It could just be my foot. I will not purchase this pair of shoes again.
