I have a chronic lung condition which gives me extra motivation to avoid seasonal colds. I've seen this in another product I take, so decided to give it a try as a standalone product. Sure glad I did. looks like a quality product (for bark) and it makes a tasty tea. In mid-January, I've managed to avoid anything serious. Amazing stuff, and a great value!!

Drinking some of this tea now! I am really pleased with what it does. For me, there were no real health issues, but overall this tea helped me to feel better and I believe it has helped me to fight off the flu, upper respiratory infection, and colds. The reason I say this with such clarity is because I've been on it approx. 2 months, and despite the changes in weather here, my whole family being sick with all three of the aforementioned, and co-workers, I have yet to be sick! That for me, is a small miracle if you knew how easily my system picks up on what everyone has every year and takes it to the 100th degree, you would know why I am sold on this product! Folk all around me were trying to quarantine themselves from me at work and home as usual (though unsuccessfully), and were shocked that I have not gotten sick yet! And, I was the "nurse" to my family members during this time because everybody was either sick, relapsing or just getting over it. I started slipping the tea to them, and everybody started feeling better slowly. Now, the whole family is on this tea! While the effects are not something that's felt, it's working on the inside, as I am a witness!

Updated on 06-15-2019Out of fairness i decided to give this supplier another try and found that the tea is back to its original quality. No longer dry and powdery, so as long as they keep this quality i will keep purchasing it (I put the rating back up to 4 stars)Update 2-28-2018I have used this Frontier Pau d'arch for a few months now and notice its not as good as my previous supplier, its very very dry a more like dust than others and the effects don't seem anywhere near as good. For that reason i am reducing my score to just two stars.I have been drinking Pau D'arco for approximately 12 years from various sources. Ever since i was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. It was recommended to me by a good friend who's mother had been drinking it for a cancer related illness . To cut a very long story short after my latest biopsy and 3 Tesla MRI, the cancer was undetectable. Now im not saying that this tea is a cure for cancer as i was also taking other Prostate supplements and the cancer originally detected was very low on the Gleason score, but i will continue to drink 3-4 cups a day as i now like the milder taste compared to my original English Breakfast Tea..

This is a very good quality product. Will buy again.

Really good taste and for an excellent price. I usually combine several immune boosting teas, add some raw honey, and refrigerate. I can drink it cold or warm it when I want hot tea.

I have been purchasing loose Pau D'arco bark from Mountain Rose Herbs, but they are out of stock of this item, so we tried Frontier's version. This tea looks at least as high quality as I am used to - clean bark instead of a lot of dust. We drink it for health purposes, but have learned to greatly enjoy the taste. I brew a separate batch of yerba maté, then combine them into a gallon jug, so since we are getting the taste of another tea at the same time, we can only somewhat attest to the flavor of Frontier's Pau D'arco. We have noticed no difference between it's taste & the taste of Mountain Rose Herbs'. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.Although it compares wonderfully to the look & taste of Mountain Rose Herbs' pau d'Arco, I should add that Frontier's is not organic, while Mountain Rose Herbs pau d'Arco is organic. This bark from Frontier is what we purchase when Mountain Rose Herbs is out of stock. Since Frontier does not claim to be organic, I do not think a star should be removed. For what they claim to provide, it's 5 stars.

Very good quality. Tastes herby and refreshing when drank cold.
