Looks great but not as comfortable as I thought it would be

For any first time buyers out there, be mindful that these run a tad big. Im usually a 11 in most of my shoes, but for this, a 10.5 is perfect. I would downside half a size for perfect fit.

I knocked off a star bc I had no idea I was getting sparkly shoes. Thought they were just white but they have a pearlescent sheen to them. Still cute though just not exactly what I though I was getting

A few years ago, I had a pair of black Chucks that were extremely comfortable. After that, I tried some other sneakers, and when I tried these on again in stores, I thought they had really uncomfortable footbeds. After going through a couple of pairs of $10 sneakers, I decided to try these again. After a day of wear, the footbed feels perfect to me. It gives good support, but it also molds to your feet. Because they lace up a little a higher than my old sneakers, I find that they have better support. I wouldn't say it has a ton of arch support, but I have flat feet and would be uncomfortable with a really high arch anyway. I could definitely walk in these shoes for hours, which is really uncommon for me. Normally, my feet hurt within an hour.I normally wear a size 6, and that was the size I ordered. It fit me perfectly. I was worried about sizing based on all the other reviews, but Amazon's return policy makes it really easy to try shoes and see if they fit. I would recommend just getting your actual size, and if it doesn't fit right, you can go up or down from there.My only complaint is that there's a seam in my left shoe that rubs up against my pinky toe. For the first few days, it was really painful, but I think I now have a callus there. I don't have the same problem in the right shoe. I'm not sure if it's an issue of production or if it's just because my feet are different sizes, but that seam is the only reason I don't wear these shoes every day. I find that after a few days, I have to give my feet a day or two off just so my toe doesn't feel like it's been rubbed raw.

These are my favorite converses ever, super comfortable I can walk all day in these!

I was having a tough time finding white leather converse when I found these. They remind me of the white leather Keds we wore in high school, which lasted forever and went with so many things. Technically they're children's shoes, but I wear a women's size 8 so the child size 6 fit perfectly. The leather surface has a bit of a shimmer (but not glittery), which I like. Have received many compliments. They've been comfortable right out of the box, with no break in period.

Gym - 4/5Chuck Taylors are a strength training favourite due to their sole that has limited cushioning. Just google: "Chuck Taylor squatting" to see what I'm talking about. I do think there are more versatile options (Reebok crossfit shoes, inov8 etc) out there that would do the same job & also let you jump on the treadmill if you want (I wouldn't do so in these), but overall they serve a purpose.Comfort - 4/5Despite the aforementioned lack of cushioning, they still manage to be very comfortable. I wouldn't want to walk extended distances in them mind.Style (for big feet) - 2/5They just look silly on my size 12 feet. Converse do a slim version which look a lot better. These also seem to squeak a lot when walking which draws even more attention to them!Overall - 3/5Good cheap gym option. Recommend the slim version over these for everyone, especially those with clown feet.
