Based on some other reviews, I ordered a half size smaller than my normal open toe shoe size. (Besides, they didn't have my normal size in stock.) They fit like a dream, are very comfortable, and I'm ready to dance the night away. They look like black velvet, the ankle strap has some elastic stretch to it, and the toe strap area is soft and does not dig into my feet. I tried similar styles in other brands but this was the only one that worked for me. My feet are very average, not wide, not narrow. The heel is high enough to look sexy and stylish and the block style adds lots of support. I would definitely recommend this brand for this style.

Good quality material, somewhat large on me and I usually wear either a 7.5 or 8. I ordered an 8. If you're like me where sometimes 7.5 is too small in this situation I'd go with a 7.5.

Ankle straps were too tight. Would have to fit another hole to make them comfortable. The main issue was the intolerable smell. It’s a plastic oil type smell which is so strong it’s on my hands after soap and water washing. The box and shoes can be smelled from another room. Can’t even imagine wearing these in public around people. They also clicked when walking. Not sure why but minor inconvenience compared to odor Cute style if you can get odor out and have thin ankles.

I thought this was gonna be like some fake leather or "rough" texture but its fuzzy velvet. Velvet shoes is a bit chonga for my taste but whatever. I did not think that was the material. I realize now that it is in the name but it did not look that way in the pictures. Otherwise, its a good regular shoe. Not good to walk in for long periods of time but its good for school and casual-professional wear. I use it a lot and its often my go-to black shoes for most occasions.

Beautiful shoe, well made, but beware they run large! I wear a 7 in just about all types of shoes, but this one was so big that I knew I could not wear it. I really wanted to keep them, I'd ordered them for a special occasion, but I had no time to return and receive the smaller size before the special day. Oh well, I had another shoe not as nice to wear to the party. I would need a 6 1/2 in this shoe in order to not "walk out" of them on the dance floor!

As soon as they were delivered, I tried them on; they are comfortable; the strap is not exactly across my toes, the right foot is more comfortable than the left foot. The color is beautiful (burgundy)

Definetly not a "quality " shoe , its cheap , its not as velvet or suede looking in real life. But definetly worth it because , they are cute , they are comfortable because of the heel, and they are inexpensive. The size of the shoe is also good. I got a size 8 , and i do have a wide foot , they fit actually a little loose which is great, not to the point where you need a size up no, but the point to where thsy are comfy :). I am just giving them 4 stars because i did want them to look more velvety and they dont. But other then that , they are decent :)
