Large, hefty, solid bball hoop. The glass backboard is stable, the rim has the right amount of firmness. I have no regrets I didn't go for a higher end model, and I'm glad I didn't go smaller than this. Has a clean look on our property. As with anything like this, the key is assembly and installation. Either do it yourself if you know what you're doing, or pay for an expert with experience with hoops. ALSO - MAKE SURE THE SAFETY BAR IS REMOVED BEFORE YOU TRY LOWERING IT.

I have purchased this backboard a few years ago, directly from pro dunk hoops. The basketball hoop plays really nicely. The glass/backboard is solid with a good feel when you bounce the ball off of it. The rim is solid. We've had average size adults dunking on it and it handles our weight well.Here comes the bad part. The thing is rusting away. I purchased the "anti-corrosion" kit and it's still rusting, severely in some places. The crank rusted within the first few months. Same with the corner supports on the backboard. The worst is the padding around the glass. It's rusted so bad that the padding started falling off. I've managed to secure it with an oversized washer for now but it's a matter of time until I need to replace it. I don't understand why they use metal to secure this padding. It's relatively low impact and could be easily supported by aluminum or even plastic, both of which would never rust. I tried getting a good picture. Pro Dunk Hoops must know this, so the only answer is they are cheaping out.

The size of the post makes the difference in this system. The backboard stays steady - no waving or wobbling. My height adjustment mechanism failed almost the first week of use, but it was quickly replaced at no cost to me. And we've had no issues now through at least 6 months of almost everyday use. Love the goal!

I purchased the Pro Dunk (aka Pro Junk) and paid the additional fee for the “Rust Armor”. After a few years my hoop is in terrible condition, and looks 30 years old. I contacted Pro Dunk and they said their warranty does not cover this kind of rust. However, they advertise “Rust Armor™ package will eliminate any risk of corrosion damage that we are backing these products up with an extended lifetime warranty that covers damage caused by corrosion.”I have photos to document corrosion, their marketing states that it covers damage caused by corrosion, but Pro Dunk has a hidden exclusion list that they tell you about post-purchase when filing a warranty claim.They might change their response now that these images are posted!

I had the choice between a Goalrilla or Pro Dunk hoops. All the marketing looked slick and so I picked this one. 1 year later I VERY much regret my decision. The padding around the hoop is faded and ripped due to natural wear, the cap at the top warped and so now water gets inside the pole, I had paint flaking off and rusting all over (the "customer service" solution was to sand off the area and take a spray can to it. I'm sorry but after the first year paint should not be flaking off), and there is rust all around the base of the crank.None of this should happen. It's completely awful. This is one of the most disappointing products I've ever purchased to be honest and their customer service is abysmal. Please stay away.
