The GCA-ANR/BT is the lowest cost Bluetooth/ANR headset in aviation! With automatic shut-off and cell phone/music interface, GCA-ANR/BT gives you many higher end ANR headsets at a fraction of the price. Using two "AA" batteries, you can expect 30-40 hours of useful ANR/Bluetooth performance, plus the ultra-comfort leather ear seals and ear seal comfort covers make this a comfortable and quiet headset.

Microphone doesn't work with US Military Aircraft.
I found out the hard way that military and general aviation use completely different microphones . This headset has a high impedance mic while military aircraft have low impedance mics and are incompatible with each other. What this means is that you'll hear them but they don't hear you. I thought I could just adapt the GA twin plug to U-174 military/helicopter plug with an adapter but it still didn't work because of the microphone impedance difference. So, as far as the functions I was able to use, they were just ok. not great, but not terrible. bluetooth music worked but the sound was a bit tinny and weak. You also couldn't just pause the music using the controller. Who ever presses any headset button as the sole means to initiate a phone call? Yeah. Nobody. But that's what these do, call the last person or whatever called you last instead of pausing the music. I can see answering the phone call with that button only. The standard voice comms were as fine as they ever are. The cord is ridiculously long; what airplane needs 6ft of cord to plug in? also, the size of the remote interface is huge. I guess it doesn't matter if you're flying, but I was trying to use this as a ground maintainer. 6ft of cord plus a 6inch remote attached partway through the cord was impossible to manage. Also not good for stealthy listening as someone is gonna ask WTF is up with that "big ole thang" swinging around. The noise cancelling was unimpressive. I have Sony noise cancelling headphones that I can't hear babies crying on passenger planes while I'm wearing them, but these couldn't even block out finger snaps from 2 or 3 feet away. These are just NO GOOD at all for use as a military aircraft ground maintainer. The noise cancellation and the standard noise reduction from just wearing them isn't good enough for use around fighter jet turbine engines. I know they are designed for in the cockpit use, but I had my fingers crossed they could work for me but they didn't.They are comfortable to wear and they cost significantly less than almost all of the other brands so at least they have that going for them.

Pictures! Great ANR Headset with Bluetooth
@Gulf Coast Avionics - you make a great product - You would sell more of them if you'd put some pictures up. I've done that for you here.@everyone else - This is a great headset. I took a chance and bought it without seeing any pictures. (Thanks for everyone else who did leave detailed text reviews). Overall, this is a great headset, that takes regular AA batteries, is very comfortable, has 3.5mm aux in, and has built in Bluetooth to feed your EFB kneeboard warnings and/or phone notifications/music into it. And the biggest selling point is the ANR that drops the cockpit noise by a very noticeable amount. Comes with a fabric ear cup covers, and a nylon case. I consider this a very solid purchase for ANR/Bluetooth GA use.

I mean anr & Bluetooth but feels cheap
So I mean it’s ANR for “cheap” but what I got in the mail didn’t look like the picture on the ad, the ...one picture. What’s the control look like? What’s the buttons and such? Just buy it and find out. The $160 headset I got with gel ear pads which is what the picture shows here, the pads on the cans are not the squishy jelly good looking ones on the picture. I’ll be buying those separately now. I mean the anr kinda helps, the microphone sounds like your talking into a can for some reason I don’t know why. And they connect to Bluetooth so that’s cool. It is what it is nothing special still not cheap. The product feels cheap though so maybe I’m just picky. Get out there and go flying

The best headset for price and quality
I am a student pilot and I've had this headset for over 2 months now and i have to say they are great, definitely much better than i expected for the price. The noise cancelling is awesome and they are really comfortable due to their super light weight and soft ear muffs. Mic is really great to and they sound really good. The only thing i would improve is that they dont clamp on my head as tight as i'd like them to, although they are very well constructed. Over all the best headset you could buy for the price and quality. I would definitelly recommend this to anyone in any stage of their career.

Very Good Quality and Great Pricing
These sets are comfortable and do a great job of reducing noise. They may not be quite up to par compared to a Bose headset, but at a fraction of the price, they give Bose a run for the money.

Good to know it can be returned for a refund
I was very disappointed after waiting a long time to receive this headset and then to discover that only the left earpiece was receiving. It is most distracting having active noise reduction in left ear...and full ambient noise in right ear. Double checked Mono/Stereo sw was in "S". No change.

Great service, product not great.
The item arrived very quickly but getting brand new batteries to work in it was a challenge. when I finally did get it working, only one earpiece ever functioned despite trying it in several different jacks in our plane. it's unfortunate; it is comfortable, the BT paired well with my windows phone, but the earpieces didn't work well.
