Universal Celtic Tarot (Universal Celtic Tarot, 1) Cards – September 8, 2019

I was so excited to get these cards in my hands- I have spent hundreds of dollars on new decks in the past couple of months while I was on the hunt for something that would resonate with me- There were decks that came close... sooo close- but not quite there. I spent a hundred dollars on one single deck, hoping that that would be the one, and in the end it was just.. eh. Pretty and a good conversational piece, maybe, but not one I could imagine myself using everyday as MY deck. I have been waiting of these cards to come out, I knew there would be something special about them- and I wasn't wrong- the art is phenomenal and every card resonates with me, either by portraying its meaning clearly in a way that I can understand, or adding something a little extra to the equation I might want to look at. I can't wait to work with them!

The media could not be loaded. The reviews saying cheep and bad wuality are wrong. Its a good base quality. Solid, easy to shuffle like playing cards. Ive got other decks fancier than thiw with thicker cards. If your looking for a simple but not fancy deck that has lovely art id buy this.My video shows wear and my camera cant quite capture it detail. The ones that say its small is exagerated its standard size for a traditinal tarot. I included a pic of it with a standard playing card for size.I dont recall anything else i wanted to know before i bought it.

I'm not a huge fan of fantasy or Celtic fantasy but these cards and theme won me over. They read nicely, have good card stock, shuffle well and are more original then the usual fantasy decks I've worked with. My only complaint is the cards are all dark as in colored dark and it's hard for me to see the details and connect to them unless I stare at them for a while. Not my go to deck but it lives comfortably in my collection.

I appreciate this deck for its unique visuals on the cards. I always ask the decks I collect what the cards think of the deck. For this one, I got the pregnant lady in white representing the 9 of cups, a good card--sometimes I get an 8 of cups which means to me to return the cards. When I count the cards I also look at the imagery and with this deck, felt it was perfect for self-readings because there were so many single people represented in various situations. So I put the deck in my morning reading box that also has my journal where I note my readings. I also ask the decks if they want to retire with the other collectibles. I got a "no" (2 wands) from this deck. I feel it has a lot to tell me.

Have been a dedicated Tarot reader for years, and I have only Positive things to say for this particular deck. Top quality card stock, beautiful illustrations of Celtic theme, love the rich symbolism tied into the series of suites and major arcana, and shuffles like a dream! Recommend this tarot deck for collectors, readers, novices & experts alike.

The art is amazing! I like that the booklet gives a little backstory to the cards, though I wish it was more in depth. As someone who has long studied magic and myth but is just starting to move into practical druidry, this is perfect for meditation and readings about my spirituality.

I give the deck 5 stars for the images and symbolism within; however, the card stock is thin and the book is barely a booklet leading to the 3 star rating. The, 'book' provides absolutely zero information other than a sentence per card stating what the primary image is... literally what it is...If I didn't like the unusual depictions so much, this deck would be returned.Frankly, it's overpriced for the card stock quality and lack of accompanying material as well as a box that would hold a regular pack of playing cards. The more I write, the more unsure I am that I'll keep them. This is truly disappointing.
