Been a long time with these gloves now. Very sturdy. Has a good dent in the middle but you still can’t feel the punch through the glove. Recommend product

I really love these mitts and would for sure give them 5 stars if it were not for the fact that the side lacing likes to come undone. It doesn't really affect the overall functionality of the mitts, but I have to tie a little knot and they don't look quite as nice. I like that these are good for smaller hands - I am a small woman (about 100 lbs) and I hold these for lots of clients during the week. I like that I can get a good grip on these and that they don't feel too big for me, whereas some of the other mitts I've used just feel too big for me.

Was very impresses by the padding of these mits. Excellent quality I plan on buying another pair for my buddy..

My 3 sons and I are boxers. We not only train at a local boxing gym, we also train at home. We also own other boxing mitts (i.e. Winning, Cleto Reyes and ProBoxing). This is our first Everlast EverGel Mantis boxing mitts. If the quality is there, we expect it to last a few years just like the other boxing mitts we own.During a training session at home (in addition to training at our boxing gym), my sons and I found that these are very good mitts.My #3 and #2 sons are light heavyweights. My #1 son is a middleweight. I am a Cruiserweight. These mitts are also used by our boxing gym. So, overall, we find these mitts to be just fine!

I'm a beginner and tried boxing classes where I needed to bring my own punch mitts. I returned these right away- thanks Amazon!Pros:CHEAP! The price is great and they look really cool- the colors and brand make them look durable.Great brand- I love Everlast and all the great products the company makes.Product was as pictured- they have a small black detail on the edge of the pad that makes it "not so plain".Cons:Fit: I would say I have small/medium sized women's hands and my hands kept slipping out of them.(with and without wrist wraps they were super loose). I would say these would be great for a large hand.When someone punched my mitt, I would feel the impact in my wrist.I definitely like the curved mitts (mitts with a foam ball inside for better impact control) a lot better and would recommend that you pay a little bit more because your wrists/arms will thank you.

The absolute BEST punch mitts I've tried! I had a pair that were flat, without the mantis shape that these have, and they were horrible. They would always slip off of my hand when I held them during practice, and they just didn't offer enough cushion. These pads, on the other hand, are all one could want in punch mitts. They offer a unique shape that allows for a variety of punches (jabs, hooks, uppercuts) while simultaneously offering sufficient cushion/padding so that you barely feel the other person punching them. Plus, you can't really go wrong with the price of about $36. Highly recommended.
