Multi-Code 4140 Remote Garage Door Opener Transmitter

This product was shipped on time, and works great, but did not come in a box. The instructions and all parts were there, just no box which made giving it as a gift look a little less put together.

Despite some of the negative reviews I ordered one of these remotes....IT WORKS PERFECTLY! It controls two gates and two garage doors and seems to be very sturdy! This is totally worth the money!!!

Needed a few of there to make up for lost openeres and the local place was charging double the price of what Amazon had them for.Came in well packaged, easy to program and work great.

bought this as it was labeled "multi code" . It will not work with intellacode type door openers . found out after purchase it was non returnable.

This was easy to put the codes in, I use it for my work and for home

I bought a couple of these transmitters because I work for a large company that uses 7 or 8 different codes for facility gates around its service territory. I was thinking that one could program 4 unique codes into the device, similar to the programmability of the 2-code transmitters I have been using. NO DICE! For it to work with multiple devices, it requires one to modify the receiver switch settings. Each group of two receivers ("A" and "B" per the instructions) has to have the same settings on the first 8 switches; positions 9-10 determine which one of the two buttons for that group it will work with. This is fine if you own the devices you are trying to control, but if you want to control four existing devices that you are unable to change the switch settings for, you are out of luck. Something to this effect should be placed into the product description.
