There's no backstory for the male, and no character development for either of them, no agreed power exchange, no limits, and no consent. He bullies her into meeting his sexual demands, so he's more domineering than dominant. There's lots and lots of s*x, mainly one-sided so, maybe in the writer's mind, this passes for BDSM.

It's a really fun book from Candy Quinn. We start off with a very beautiful girl showing up on an island and meeting an ex-military guy who only wants one thing. If you like getting hot and heavy, this is the right book for you.
