Brake Controller Mounting kit for 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma Compatible with Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller

This is not a "Mounting Kit." It is a $2 flat piece of plastic, with four small screws. The photo above is deceptive--perhaps blurry for a reason. The cutout for the controller, in the plastic, does not and cannot fit tightly. No gasket is provided to fill the gap. There is no bracket to support the controller. The dash of my pickup has several add-on accessories. Both OEM items and aftermarket items fit with precision.I did not install it. The only positive thing I can say is that it appears it will hold the controller, but so would a couple of cable ties. The seller provided a refund, but it was $5 less than the purchase price. So... It will cost you $5 to see you don't want to pay $40 for a $2 piece of... plastic. Shame on you, ESP.

Paid $40 for a $1.50 plastic shim, mount thing. Thought I was getting a dash replacement part for the controller, no a flat piece of plastic 1.5" X 3". Don't buy.

$40 for a little piece of plastic and 2 small screws. Controller doesn't even fit into this "faceplate" decently. The whole thing would be overpriced at $2.

Like most have stated, it is overpriced but worked for my application. I decided to take a different approach to installing my P3 trailer brake by installing it to the left of the steering column. With a little modification, I was able to install the trailer brake seamlessly into the lower trim piece. Overall, pretty satisfied with the look and finish of the installation.

Nearly $40.00 for a .50 cent piece of cheap plastic?! And it only came with two of the four screws! This has GOT to be some kind of joke!

Fit worked once I shaved off the top tab on the brake controller. After the adjustment, fit worked and looks great.

Product took 1/2 hour to install. Was easier than expected little overpriced.
