Family Faith & Values Bible Heritage Edition (Black Bonded Leather with Gift Box): King James Version Leather Bound – August 2, 2017

Poorly packaged in simple thin plastic instead of a box or protective covering. The Bible had a significant dint on the cover. But, the fact that the Bible was engraved with peoples names on the COVER should have been visibly noted in the description. This was a gift that cannot be used. Wear is one thing, but previous personalization is unacceptable!! Waste of time and I have to order something else!Buyer beware!

I see now there are two price listings. Both listings say the Bible is leather bound, but I think only the higher priced one might be. The one I ordered is imitation leather and has no pictures.I thought I was getting a fantastic deal, since the description said this was leather bound. Mine is not. The packaging says "White Imitation Leather." I don't really mind that. What disappoints me most is that there are no pictures! I had assumed this would have beautiful, full-color illustrations like other family bibles I have seen. I learned from another web-site that the more expensive, leather bound edition has them.A hint: if you magnify the picture and look closely, you can see that the more expensive Bible is supposed to have "16 Full Color Christian Masterpieces." This is missing from the picture of the less expensive Bible.The Bible is beautiful! I love the large type and the words of Christ in red. It has a Bible dictionary and other nice extras.The family record section in front has room for recording 6 children -- adequate for most families. I have 8, so I will be passing this on as a gift. There is a gift presentation page, a page for recording the marriage of husband and wife, two pages for recording info on 6 children (as mentioned before), a page for recording info on the husband and wife's parents, a page for recording names of brothers and sisters and grandparents, and a page for names of grandchildren.

This is a great family bible. I have three other versions from different publishers to compare it to. This one sits in the middle of the living room on a book holder so it can stay open with the verse of the day marked. It has a decent family tree in the front, including important events etc. In the back is several sections on family values and family bible study; including references, essays, concordance and dictionary plus much more. I mark these sections on Saturdays. Full color photos also can be found throughout the book that I open up during religious holidays. There is enough in this bible to keep a family busy for many years. The font style is very large and beautiful. It is the perfect family bible, because it is centered around family values. **P.S. buy the leather bound version. Not the imitation leather**

This is an awesome Bible, KJV and Huge print. What more could you ask for? There is a daily Bible reading plan, and so much more included in this book. It is not a study Bible per-say but it has alot of extras. If you are looking for Study bible, you may want to consider scoffield Bible. This also has a place to write in all your family names, and ancesters... It is also great for reading everyday, you will not need glasses to read. Even if you have no trouble with your sight, it is good to read the Bible so clearly. Very nice A+++

Love the look and binding of the book. I bought it for my daughters wedding with hopes of guest highlighting their favorite verse and putting their name on the top of the page in lieu of signing a guest book.

Purchased as wedding gift for devout Christian couple. The Bible is beautifully bound and printed. The packaging was clearly for retail market, as it was full of promotional commentary related to price, which I felt necessary to remove before wrapping. Relieved I did not take, and strongly suggest buyer not take the gift wrap option. Otherwise it makes a great gift as a family Bible, at a remarkable price.

It is beautiful,I was very surprised when I got it,much prettier than pictures it shows. It is very large though. Not disappointed, just expected something smaller to carry with me.Very beautiful For home reading and family

Exactly what I was looking for! A bible larger than normal size with large printing so that it can be placed on a table displaying "verse of the week." Sits perfectly on an adjustable bible/book stand.

Bought this for my friends that got married, as I thought it would be a nice family bible. It came in the box as pictured and is a huge white leather bible with gold edges around the pages, nice big font, there was space to write a message to the couple as well as pages for the couple to fill in about their current (grandparents, parent,etc.) family and future children. Then at the back of the bible there are some beautiful pages about what it means to be a family, the roles in the family, how to pray and how to read the bible together. Absolutely loved this gift and can't wait to give it again to a newly married couple or a young family!

This is a fairly large bible which I purchased to use as a family bible. It has spaces at the start to enter family members and relevant dates. A great item for family worship time and Amazon had it at a bargain price when I purchased it.

This product arrived well packaged and in mint condition. It is what we expected and more - bonded leather bound, good paper, nice illustrations, and the required pages for family history entries - all of this at a very competitive price. A first class product.
