Eco-Friendly Shampoo - Rosemary, Mint, Vanilla - Sulfate Free, 16oz (Refill Bottle)

I've been working on eliminating plastics in my life. I switched to bar shampoo but got frustrated with the amount of water needed to rinse out the product and the ph change in my hair over time that caused extreme dryness. I decided to give Plaine Products a try because it is so natural and the bottles are reusable. I absolutely love this shampoo! It is the best shampoo I've ever used. It leaves my hair soft but does not weigh it down. I am a "lo-poo" shampooer, meaning I shampoo every 3 days. This shampoo leaves my hair soft and clean for 3 days easily. I highly recommend this product!

It’s a small bottle. It smells like ginger to me. So it smells like it has very natural ingredients. I don’t know if I will repurchase because it’s quite expensive. I think it is worth it because it is biodegradable. But I don’t have enough budget to always be environmentally friendly. Lol

I tried sooooo many different non toxic shampoos and wasted so much money. They all just left my hair super greasy after. Then I found this brand and have had no issues! I love it! I don’t use conditioner with this either, it’s great by itself.

So I like this product, but I have to admit the cost of this product shocked me. It isn't just a couple more bucks more than the "competition", it's like triple the cost, for a smaller size bottle. I guess I'm just wondering how much of this cost is the refillable bottle business model, and how much of this cost is the "vegan, sulfate free" ingredient list. I'm all for a plastic-free lifestyle, but at this price point I might as well go "no-poo" method and save the 30, 60, 90 dollars for something else.

Honestly, great product. However, living in Phoenix, the pump action is constantly being messed with by the temperature pressure. Not suitable for constantly changing climates.

I was drawn to plaine products after hearing about their refillable packaging concept. After a few weeks of use, I can say that the shampoo inside is lovely. The Rosemary Mint Vanilla has a lovely smell - looking forward to trying the conditioner soon!

I'm a guy, and my hair is probably average thickness, and straight. I also keep it relatively short (after about 4 inches it needs a good cut). This means that just about any shampoo works for me.I gave this a try to get away from the plastic shampoo bottles. I really do like the bottle, and while I'd love for the pump to be aluminum or something, I'm not sure how that would really work. The shampoo itself is excellent. I find I use a tiny bit and end up with a great lather that more than covers my hair. I was pretty shocked by the price, but since I'm using so little of it with each wash, I expect the bottle will last me for at least 6 months. I think I'll try the subscription on their Web site next time, and maybe try the other scent. At the same time, I may also look into what it takes to make my own liquid shampoo (though my initial search hasn't been promising), so that I can keep using the bottle without having to pay quite so much.I now have both a Rosemary - Mint - Vanilla and a Citrus - Lavender shampoo, and love them both. Because I am not a big fan of Lavender, the Rosemary scent is definitely my favorite. I keep both on the shower shelf for variety, and would love to have some additional scents.

I've noticed that I don't have to color my hair as often since I switched to this shampoo. My boyfriend loves the smell so much that he started using it too. Returning it has so easy since that mail a return label with the refill. I'm used to going by ups a lot since I'm obsessed with amazon.

Fabulous product! I have had trouble finding natural shampoos that leave my thick curly hair feeling clean. This product does not disappoint my hair always feels very clean and soft after washing. Additionally I love that I am able to return the bottle.
