Sterile First Aid Pads 5"x9" - 20 Pack
First off, I have not had to use one of these pads yet and did not open the sterile packages to prevent contamination. The 20 pads came in a box and are individually wrapped in sealed plastic to prevent to keep them sterile. The pads look adequate but until I use one, I can't state more than that.

Great for IFAK
These are individually wrapped and great to include in your everyday carry kit for car or backpack. They are large enough to cover most wounds and can be cut to size for smaller needs. These are thicker and more absorbent than a standard gauze. Overall a very versatile must have for your first aid kit.

Very nice pads. I would order this brand again.
These 5”x9” Sterile Combine Pads by Ever Ready First Aid are good quality.– The nonwoven cover feels smooth and gentle on the skin.– The inside seems soft and absorbent, although I didn’t test absorbency specifically.– Each pad is sealed in a sterile clear-plastic-and-paper separate-to-open pouch.– One side has a blue stripe to indicate the up direction (remember, it’s “blue to the sky”).If you’ve never seen one of these pads before, they are exactly like a very flat and very wide old-fashioned sanitary pad. They’re ¼ inch thick when fluffed, or ⅛” thick when compressed. The pad surface is a plain nonwoven fabric. If you will be storing this on a shelf, the dimensions of the box are 8” wide x 4” deep x 7.5” high. The box I received did not have an open dispenser top like in the listing. Mine was a plain box, not fancy, but it works. It has a locking tab so the top won’t pop open.

Rough texture but does what it says it does
Keeping a well stocked first aid kit should be one of the things a parent or anybody should look into. Being ready for any emergency, being your own or someone close to you, is essential in keeping things manageable. With that being said, I always try to be on top of the things I will need in the future and that's why I prepared my first aid kit with these Ever Ready combine ABD pads. These pads are intended for post-surgical absorption of fluids, but they can be used in any meaningful way to cover any number of wounds or cuts. The pads are 5" x 9" and do cover a decent space. The material is not the softest on the skin (aka a bit rough) but the absorbency is valid. Maybe in future versions of this pad, the manufacturer could spend a bit more money and buy softer material. Overall, for the money, it's not bad but general usage. I would spend a bit more for more comfortable (softer) textured material.

Household essential
Good to keep as a stock item in the medical kit cabinet. Sterile, easy to apply, meets my standard for a first aid item for occasional use.

Great to have
Combi pads are great to have in your first aid kit. These pads come individually wrapped and are sterile until opened. They are absorbent and definitely hold quite a bit of leakage should you have some.
