This has been a miracle for my pre-diabetes and cholesterol. My doctor told me to take one in the morning and one at night because I was waking up in the middle of the night craving sweets. Research the "dawn phenomenon" for more information. It helps regulate insulin and my restless nights and cravings are gone and I have lost 10 lbs. It has also lowered my blood pressure. Truly a blessing. Great product.

I have been taking berberine now for a couple of months and waited to review the product to ensure the results, but wow these have been a miracle in a bottle for me. I have never taken prescribed medication and am hoping that with this product I never will as I have had no negative side effects.I have tested and challenged this supplement with all kinds of goodies, and I have been amazed how controlled my blood sugar readings have been. Though I will be more conservative with my diet because I know the benefits of that. It is also nice to know that these will keep my sugar levels at a norm if I slip up and have a carb heavy day.These are a great product at a low price with several benefits. I will continue to take them to help with my bodies metabolic processes. Thank you for a great product and the ability to live without complete carb restriction as a pre-diabetic.I have now recommended these to family and friends and hope that their results are as positive as my own.

Seems to work fine. No complaints. Haven’t had my blood sugar, cholesterol levels etc. taken since trying this particular brand, but 1200 mg of berberine definitely does have very positive affects(effects?) on my blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Berberine was specifically ‘prescribed’ by my doctor. This is the rare supplement that has proven, measurable, results similar to prescription medications.—-I buy whichever brand is least expensive at a given time. Probably should find one brand and stay with it? But dr. didn’t recommend one brand over others. * always fully swallow the capsules with lots of water. One time I bought the powder in bulk and tried to take by teaspoon. A big mistake.......it has an unbelievably horrible taste!

My A1C (blood sugar)was getting too high and I feared my doctor would up my meds. I read up on Berberine and decided to try. This brand seemed high quality and the correct dose, 1-2× per day. Three months later, my A1C went down to 6.5. My doctor was shocked, as I was too. Thanks to my continued Berberine use, I will not need stronger diabetic meds. I might add, I take the pills after lunch, not with any other meds.

My husband has small-intestinal-bacteria-overgrowth. He tried this supplement, and it worked wonders. He was able to get off his gluten-free, vegetarian, low-FODMAP diet.

I was using a more expensive brand which did indeed bring all of my scary cholesterol-related numbers down closer to the normal range. I chose this brand because of it's purity and cost. My future test results will reveal the details of my cholesterol numbers. I have high cholesterol because I have Hypothyroidism. I also have been warned of becoming insulin resistant. That's why I'm taking Berberine. It's working. Now, if I can conquer my UTI frequency from eating the desserts that I love.

I've been taking this product for several months and lowered my A1c from 6.5 to 5.9 to 5.8. I have read that it can take quite a while to pull A1C down and I will continue to use this product with the hopes that over time I can get my A1c into normal range of 5.6 or better.

I have used Berberine but, only 800mgs m purchased from another co. Which reminds I wanted price compare lol. True Anyways. 800 mgs worked great for weight loss along with 2 other suppl (in vit bag geez I was really prepared to purchase this n so, prepared for this review lolol)It does help though with weight loss n I will come back to review after i use this brand of higher mgs.Namaste'~ love n Light.
