Great strings
I'm sure there are more sophisticated brands for oud strings, but this is always available and consistently priced as well as it is consistent in quality. Long lasting strings also.

Sound great naturally or with a pick up
Good quality... Sounds nice and tight with a mellow tone and they also come across lovely when using an acoustic pickup. Can't argue for the price, I'm pleased with these strings.

Tangled
The strings are coloured coded for ease of installation but they come wound around each other and are very difficult to separate and final do fling apart. Take care!. Nice bright sound and they stay in tune very quickly after being put on.

Great strings
They are great dulcimer strings.

High tuning, tarnished quickly.
I bought these D'Addario EJ94 Requinto strings to string up a half-sized guitar (Stagg C510, 554mm scale length) to A tuning (ADGCEA, 5 semitones above standard classical guitar tuning). They worked perfectly for this, and the strings were a generous length, so that they could have been used on a full-sized classical guitar, maybe to get Terz tuning (GCFBbDG) or renaissance lute tuning (GCFADG), as they are thinner than standard strings. The sound seems fine to me, given the limitations of the guitar. However, the wound strings tarnished very quickly indeed - the guitar was kept in a room with other guitars, and while my Savarez strings, which are considerably older, are still bright silver, these are a dull dirty brown after a few weeks. They have only been lightly played, and this is not due to player wear, but along the entire length of the string. It can be tricky to find strings suitable for this tuning, so it may be worth giving them a whirl, but I can't recommend them, due to their very poor lifespan.

Good quality strings
I'm still experimenting with different string types and gauges for my Tenor Guitar, and am very pleased with the quality and sound I get with D'Addario strings.

Excellent quality strings
Excellent quality strings as I've come to expect from D'Addario. Very good tonal balance. Improved my tenor guitar's tone and brought it to life.
