HollonSafe WS-BIO-1 In Wall Safe, White, Small

I looked at a variety of models and really none of them were really well liked by the reviewers. I ended up wanting to buy one that was gray or white to blend with the wall color. This wall safe arrived undamaged and well packed. The finish of the paint is good and while it took me a couple times to get the fingerprint reader to accept my fingerprint I believe that was probably my error over any problem with the safe itself. The interior of the safe is not very big but it is not supposed to be but works well for holding a few fireproof pouches with documents in them. I would recommend this product for its intended use.

For the money it’s overall a decent safe. The issues stem from poor packaging. The safe weights around 30lbs and is made in china. Somewhere between there and my front door the inadequate packaging failed leaving the safe subject to damage.First one that arrived had a poor weld on the door hinge (no penetration on the mating surface) it broke loose during shipping and the door flopping around bent the lower door sill and ripped the corner welds on sill.Second one showed up with minor shipping damage as well but it was minor enough to live with as I figured if I returned and ordered again the third would be a gamble at this point.Again for the price it’s a decent safe, hope they beef up the packaging so the safe has a chance to survive shipping.
