I’ve been desperately trying to find a healthy food blend for my birds that did not smell like garbage (literally) like some of the popular, so-called fresh and organic brands. I like this company for their parrot food so thought I’d try it for the little guys. Glad I did. Best part about it is, it smells awesome! Like, really really good!! The other ones made my birdcage smell awful. Highly recommend.

This is one of the better ingredient bird seeds. I’m attempting to convert my budgie to pellets so this helps.

My birds are very picky, their last bird seeds price went up significantly, so I started looking for another, I tried 2 before this one and they weren't having it. The minute I put Sunburst in their cage, they went to town!

Higgins Sunburst Parakeet is the best food you can buy for your smaller parots and finches! Higgens makes other foods but Im only familiar with this one. I feed my birsa a variety of foods depending on the breed, if they are male or female, if they are laying eggs or are new to the family and need something to help them feel and look their best. My birds love the Sunburst and will ask for it if they are out, even if they have other foods available.p My birds are healthy, beautiful and live long happy lives because of this food! It costs a bit more. But the small increase is better than wondering why tweety doesnt look so good, gets sick or dies!

It’s probably my favorite to mix in with my ordinary seeds to give the birds some sweet smells of the fresh seeds this item provides. Since it is pricy I get it for myself once in a while but I can tell my birds eat the food all day and they love this mixed in with the normal seed products I buy from Walmart.

I like the mixture Higgins puts out for birds. They do well on it.

My pet mice really like this mix as part of their diet. Be careful about leaving the bag on the floor though, they will get through the plastic in no time ha.
