Bordeaux Maraschino Cherries

Recommended to me by a bar tender in Ketchum Idaho for making the best Manhattans. Ditch the typical cherry garnish and elevate your drink with these.

I have tried many cherries for my old fashioned. These are my favorites. Tried Luxardo which are supposed to be the best. Nope these are.

It is a tad pricy but oh oh oh YUM!

These. Are. Soooooo. Good. Like, ridiculously good. If all you've ever had are the bright red or green maraschino cherries you get in regular grocery stores, do yourself a favour and splurge on trying these Royal Harvest Bordeaux cherries out. They are absolutely delicious.The wife and I had a terrific Old Fashioned cocktail in Seattle recently, where the bartender muddled these cherries in the drink. My missus enjoyed it so much, I ordered a 3-pack for her and gave it to her last night on Valentine's Day. We cracked a jar open and had to exercise the utmost control to only eat a few cherries each.Really superb. I have no idea what the reviewer was talking about who thought these tasted like anything artificial or like cough syrup. They must've had their taste buds ruined ages ago. These things are great. Once we go through our 3 jars, I'll be getting more for sure. Putting it back into my wishlist right now.

I've tried a lot of different cocktail cherries over they years for Whiskey Sours, Old Fashions, etc. Nothing comes close to these Bordeaux cherries!

I love these cherries and use them in my cocktails all the time. I had been buying these from Amazon and then found them in the liquor store for half the price. So I highly recommend them but would refrain from purchasing them from Amazon.

I saw the bartender at an upscale bar making a Manhattan with these cherries. She said that they were out of this world, and handed me one on a pick. It was totally amazing. Nothing like the cloyingly sweet Maraschino cherries that you are used to. These have a deep dark flavor that is like no other cherry. Highly recommend this. (You can make your Manhattan even better by adding a tablespoon of the juice from the jar to the drink.)

Nom Nom! These are by far the best tasting maraschino cherries we have ever had. We're hooked. The only problem is, you can never go back to what you thought were maraschino cherries before. Consider yourself warned.
