Good heat proof sealant, using it on live steam boiler burners

We needed this to seal a leaking external flue join above a conservatory roof. It’s done the job as we needed a sealant with high heat properties.

The glass on the stove is still firmly in place. Pretty easy to use but , like most of this stuff, a bit messy. Wiping quickly with a damp cloth solved that issue. All good so far and recommended. Good value and a known make for this application.

This I used to seal fire resistant tiles around the wood burning stove enclosure, using fire cement for the tile fixing.It could be used to fit the tiles, but would not stick enough for roof tiles, without supporting the tiles.Good quality and goes solid with heat, I used a heat gun to set the joints, then the fire to fully cure the sealant and cement.

Used this to seal round my wood burners flue ... Job done works perfectly....sets rock hard and resists a roaring fire no problems.
