Rovner L12 Tenor Sax Ligature

Fix your listing name; it should be CLEAR in the title that this is for a SLIM tenor; whatever the heck that is. Absolutely does not fit a normal tenor mouth piece.

Easy to get the reed in place. Very good sound. Holds the reed more reliably than anything else I’ve tried, and I’ve tried most of them! I have several Rovner ligs, and none of them have failed, even with 20 years of use. Priced very reasonably too.

Bought this for my son that plays saxophone. Good quality but I bought this not realizing it’s a SLIM ligature. The details did not mention the smaller size.

Needed a simple, yet effective ligature for my Berg Larsen straight bill (stainless) tenor piece. Rovner makes a great product that I can trust, and I opted for the Light model for its aim towards jazz/contemporary music. It fits the mouthpiece perfectly, thanks to Rovner's comprehensive sizing guide. For holding the reed firmly in place, I'd give it a 9/10 in that department, just because if you adjust the mouthpiece on the neck in the twisting motion, the lig might slip just a little, but no big deal. This ligature does not muffle or "suck up" the sound, and allows the reed to indeed vibrate freely.

Nearly too small for a Brilhart Tenor mouthpiece. Considering a Clarinet ligature was too big, I'm impressed honestly

The quality of this Ligature was fine, but I had issue with the size. I have a Selmer tenor Sax, and the description clearly said this would fit. But what do you know? It doesn't fit. I undid the whole screw thinking i can make the leather stretch, but there is no way this would stretch to fill that big of gap. So needless to say, this had to go back.

I will buy another one for my alto.

メタルマウスピースのゴッツ「響」に適合とのふれ込みだったが、ぎちぎちでリードのはいる隙間が無かった。仕方なく、締め付け部分のシート接着部を注意深く外し、両端部を約３ミリ程度ずらして接着し直しＯＫだった。きつかった方は捨てずにご参考ください。物は立派なので3の評価としました。

Looks nice and well made but it's way too small for a tenor saxophone. It wouldn't even fit my alto! Maybe if you had a particularly skinny mouthpiece, it would work. I'll be returning mine for a larger model.
