Napoleon67011 Stainless Steel Smoker Pipe

This pipe works very well. It was designed for a gas grill, but I also use it on my Webber Kettle. It will produce 20 minutes of intense smoke if centered on the coals, or about an hour of gentler smoke if only one end is over the coals. Very easy to load and reload and I can soak the chips right in the pipe if I want by loading and tossing in a pan of water. The steel is very substantial and since it's stainless it does not rust and should work well for years. It does discolor with use, but that does not affect the performance. Makes a great inexpensive gift for anyone who likes grilling.

Material quality is good and most chips will fit. Only down side is you may need to break up larger chips to fit. So far so good!UPDATE! Have now used the product for more than a year and LOVE it. Pipe design is such that all but very large chips fit fine. Best feature is that the design does not allow enough air in to permit the chips to "flame or flare up". My previous experience was with a smoker "box" for the chips and they were constantly on fire...no matter how long I soaked them. This tube is GREAT!!

Works on my gas grill petty much as advertised. Smoke pellets are pricy but the results are decent. Don't expect it to give the same result as a pellet or wood fired smoker grill.

Nice quality, easy to use, but it did not produce any smoke for me. I placed it next to a burner on high, and all I got was the faintest little smell that maybe there was some wood somewhere getting warm. Specifically I was roasting a chicken on the rotisserie and had one burner on high with the smoke tube resting next to it full of chips, and nothing. Save your money this isn't worth it.

I’m very disappointed in this product and it does not smoke well. Actually it hardly smokes at all so don’t waste your money.

Eeeeeeehhh its ok and a little disappointed. I would skip it search for something else. The quality seems decent, but if you use smoking pellets, I think there are other products out there way better. You could pretty much make your own from some steel piping from your local hardstore punch some small holes in it and your done for a lot less. I tried several different ways now of packing the pipe very tight with pellets and then giving a little room to breath. I place over one burner rack (on the top, not close to the actual flame) on my gas grill to provide enough flame to get it to smoke. It smokes great for about 10 minutes then bursts into a nice torch with flames shooting out from every little hole and end of the thing. I have already moved on for a different option, set this aside and maybe use as a last resort or maybe use in the next 400 Meter race. Dooooon't both.....

Well made.Easy to use, nice smoke flavor to meats, cheeses and just about anything else.Really nice for a quick smoked steak or chicken.

This is my second one and I am still using the first one I bought years ago! I love smoking in my BBQ and just wanted to use two in the same BBQ.
