Excellent carbon Mora Companion Heavy Duty model
Great purchase! Arrived in a Mora factory blister pack and not the usual Amazon plastic bag sleeve. Terrific value knife! I have the standard Companion in carbon and love it, and thought I'd try the Heavy Duty model since the price was so good, essentially the same.I really like the thicker blade and heftier handle! It just feels right for an outdoor duty Companion. The standard model is great too and is an amazing slicer with its thin blade, but this Heavy Duty might be even more at home on a camp site where it could see more hard use and light bushcraft. I have smaller hands but the oversize grip on this HD is excellent too. This HD Companion model will ride in the car alongside my Fiskars hand axe.Very happy with this purchase. Thank you!!!

Mora’s are great bushcraft knifes & they are at a very good price
The knife is exactly as described. I wanted the heavy duty version for durability

I really like it, but the base grind is concave.
It matches most of the requirements I wanted in a knife. I'm editing my review because when I tried polishing I realized the never was concave. I have ground this blade on my 400 grit diamond Stone for hours and I still haven't taken enough material off to sharpen the concave area. After a while I decided to just grind material off with extremely aggressive movements back and forth so I could one day get done. I'm still working on it.

Best all around work knife period
I bought an after market sheath that makes up for the sheath that comes with the knife I strongly recommend an aftermarket sheath for the Mora companion which can be found on Amazon well worth the extra cost work hard play hard n pray harder

Favorite mora
I own a few moras and this is probably my favorite considering the price. Much heavier and better feel than the average companion.
