These work great for my calligraphy students to practice writing notes on.

Very nice quality vellum envelopes. The envelopes make a great first impression - important if you are sending cards you created.

Was hoping for a little heavier grade and better quality, I'm use to Stampin Up envelopes and they don't compare. All in all good value for the price though.

Cut is right on, cut from roll stock.

Thinner than I expected. You can see the stripes on the card inside, but the color is very nice. I think it would be fine for a card without a bold pattern. They seem to be 70 lb, I think I just need 100lb paper. They are much thicker than what you can buy at staples or Walmart (standard mailing envelope), but these are for wedding save the dates and I was hoping they would be a little thicker. The biggest issue was that the glued down folded edges were coming apart on one side (see picture). I randomly checked 10 and 8/10 were coming apart. I returned. I would have kept them if I couldn't see the stripes on my inserted card and if I got some replacements for the ones with the glue issue.
