sturdy! doesn’t cracks when cut. :)
The media could not be loaded. If you are looking for nails that are sturdy and can take all the roughness in the world, then these nails are for you!I bought these nails without any discount or promo, yet still i want to give you a thorough review because i know how it feels to be browsing all over the place just to find the perfect nail.:)Since i know that we all have different preference, i made a comparison with a drugstore brand nail “A”, another nail i bought online “B”, and Makartt nail “C”.Test 1: thickness 1-10. 10 thickestA: 2. Thinnest among them.B: 3.5 somehow thicker than AC:4 makartt is the thickest one. Yet even if it's thick, when cut, it doesn't crack or ruin the integrity of the nail.Test 2: flexibilityA: most flexible due to it being thinB: a little bit firmer than AC: most sturdy, it would require extra force to bend it.Test 3: base shape of nail. (opposite of nail tip)A: curve in shape, which follows the cuticle line.B: square-ish end. May require filing if it pinches the skin.C: curve in shape. Follows the cuticle line.(personally i prefer the curved bases, because it looks more natural and you don't have to file it down.)Notes on the Makartt nails-very sturdy base on its thickness.-easy to file and cut without cracking or breaking nail’s integrity.-nail polish glides on smoothly.Again it all depends on what you like.If you want sturdy nails, then from what i see these are not breakable. If you want it to be thinner though, the beauty of it is that you can file it down. Just remember to buff it out so that the application will be smooth:)Overall i am happy with this. It really impresses me how i can cut the nail with a nailcutter without it breaking or cracking.

Better than expected!!
I am beyond satisfied with these nails! They turned out way better than expected. These hold just as good, if not better than acrylics and they look beautiful! I had no problem with the shipping, came right on time and the nails handle paint very easily. I have mine on for almost 2 weeks now and only one (my right pinky) popped off. These also adhere very well to my nails and fit mostly true to size. There are a few mishaps here and there but for the most part perfect. The only filing that has to be done really is at the base so they can fit better on the nail. They look very natural so I am very happy with these. I will be reordering 😊👍🏼. In the picture is my nails at this week and a half mark. **** These nails come VERY long and will need some filing and clipping. It would be best to get a toe nail clipper or profession spring nail clipper because these nails are very sturdy. Regular finger nail clippers may be broken after some use.

Pretty, versatile and sturdy false nails! Very impressed.
*DISCLAIMER* I have never done an acrylic manicure in my life...on myself or anyone else. I watched a few youtube videos about shaping and polishing, but for most of the process, I was totally winging it! That said, these acrylic nails were very easy to work with and presented no obvious frustrations beyond what you might expect from fake tips (especially when putting them on/wearing them for the first time)! I decided to try acrylic tips after being unable to keep polish on my nails for longer than a day - due to what a manicurist once told me is a condition called "eggshell nail" (thanks for the shoddy genes mom!) which makes my nails extremely thin, flexible and prone to bending/curling downward at the tip. When I apply polish to my nails, and then my nails bend, the polish simply cracks and flakes off. Bummer! Lucky for me, these acrylic tips COMPLETELY solved my problem! The pictures attached to this review are on DAY 8 of the manicure. They've held up wonderfully! There are a few "cracks" in the polish on the tips of the thumb and index finger, but they're only visible if you're looking VERY closely. Honestly not sure what caused it - might just be the polish - but these hairline fractures have been around for a few days and the polish has yet to flake off as a result. Any other blemishes you may see are from my own amateur polish job.First step: Finding your size. Having never worked with acrylics before, this part was both challenging and a little bit fun. I knew from the start I wanted to use 5 different sizes for each 5 nails so that I could maximize the number of usable nails in the package. For example, say you used a size 4 for both your ring and index finger - you'd eventually run out of size 4s before you ran out of the other sizes you used because you're using twice as many of them per manicure. Overall, I would say this is the biggest downfall for this pack of 500 nails - you will most likely only end up using 250 of them, max! That said, I had to make a few sacrifices in size to ensure I was getting the most bang for my buck. It was easy to remedy in the prepping stage though - I just had to file down some of the larger sizes a bit to get rid of any overhang on the sides of the nail. It's worth noting that, even though my fingers aren't really "big" by any means (I wear a size 5.5 - 6 ring), even the largest size almost wasn't big enough for my thumb. Thankfully, the nails are tapered quite a bit, and I was able to file down the Size 0 on the cuticle side until it matched up with the width of my nail bed.One thing I didn't do this time, that I will definitely do next time - I will spend some time filing down the SURFACE of the nail, as well as tapering the cuticle and scratching edges. These nails are seriously thick once you get about a quarter of an inch into them, and they look a bit chunky when looking at them in a profile view. Because I didn't file down the scratching edge, I'm having a SERIOUSLY hard time scratching itches! No problems in the gluing process - though I won't indulge much here since that is 90% glue and 10% nail. I did rough up the underside of the nails before applying the glue to ensure a better hold.Another thing you'll quickly notice - these are very long nails, which is great for finding your perfect shape, but also a bit tedious if you want shorter nails like the ones I ended up with. Lucky for me, I found out after the first nail that these hold up very well to clipping. However, it's worth noting that they are both very rigid and have a very steep curve to them - only the pinky and ring nails could fit completely inside the mouth of my (toenail-sized!) clippers while still keeping the blades parallel to the fingertip. This meant that it was a bit tough to keep the nails uniform in shape while trimming down to the desired length. That said, they might fit in a pair of clippers with a wider opening - I'm sure it varies.Polish went on these things like a DREAM. Seriously, even better than natural nails. Once again, I roughed up the surface of the nail with a buffer before applying the polish. I used 2 coats of the Sally Hansen gel polish + the gel top coat, and they dried for about 3 - 5 minutes between coats. Not a single chip in 8 full days. These things are the perfect remedy for anyone looking to have a great manicure who suffers from thin, flexible nails like I do - I highly recommend.Just for reference, the entire process took me about 2 - 2.5 hours, which I honestly didn't think was too bad for my first try. I'm sure I can shave it down by quite a bit now that I (sorta) know what I'm doing. Definitely a worthy investment, and a fun, creative process throughout!

Very good quality
This product deserves more than 5 stars. You definitely get more than your money's worth and they are so easy to cut and shape. I didn't have any clippers to shorten them so I used a pair of scissors. They worked perfectly, the nails didn't break or crack. I was able to file them without an issue, and they were easy to fit on my nails. As to be expected, there are a few packs of nails that I can't use which is a bummer, but I was able to get use out of most of the sizes. I got the natural color and they were very easy to paint over.

Perhaps for smaller hands
The shape and length of these nails allow for a lot of design with polish or shaping. The quality of the nails themselves is good; I haven't had them split or break. However! The sizing is not good. I have the smallest hands out of all my friends, and there is not a nail large enough for my thumbnail. The differences between sizes is a bit inconsistent as well.I can use them to fill out some sizing I was running low on, but cannot use these to have a full set on their own.
