not attractive...but wow does it work!
Last night i took the beetle trap out of the box and put it together (the photo shown is the company logo and gives you no idea what you are getting). The trap is about 14 inches tall an is bright yellow. It consists of three pieces, a lure amd two twist ties. I opened the lure to see what it was (gooey smelley gel) and put the lid most of the way back on. I left the entire assembled trap with the lure container lid loosened sitting on a table outside. Today it had about 30 beetles trapped in it and more lining up. It is now hanging in its perminant location. Very impressed. I definately know why the instructions said to empty it at least once a week. I am ordering a second one for my dad

Lots of beetles in the garden but only six in the trap after a week.
This has been a disappointment. The plastic jar and hanging device are well made and should be quite durable as well as allowing emptying of the jar (unlike the plastic bag traps that are one use only). However, despite the hype about having both sex and floral attractants, we found only six dead beetles in the jar after a week (it was about six feet from the edge of the garden which the beetles are munching on happily. It appeared to be fresh stock and I have no idea why it didn't work. We caught more beetles in just a simple plastic box of water placed nearby.

One wind gust and this was done
I put this in my backyard according to the directions and within one hour a small summer storm blew in. I ended up with bait all over my backyard, which DID work. My entire yard was covered with beetles...but none of them were in the trap!! I'm buying the cheap things from the hardware store now, and chalking this up to a huge waste of money. There are no extra baits, and the fact that it was only secured with a twist tie doesn't really make me happy. I guess I figured that for over $10, it should at least be a little better than what I saw.

Amazing
I bought 3 of these, and wondered how well they would work. I took them outside to tie on the bait. By the time I moved to baiting the second trap there was already one beetle on the first trap. By the time I was placing the second trap, they were swarming the first. I think if the beetles make it in to the trap (and they look like they are) I'll be emptying them in a day or two.

Does NOT Work
The product does not work, the lure was very hard to hand on the beetel trap. The Lure attracted a couple of dozen beetles in three weeks, I know I have a lot of beetles in the garden , as they are chewing up plants, Other traps fill the bag in a day. Buy the bag traps instead.

Traps TONS of beetles
I'm getting tons of beetles in the trap - they started flying in instantly. You won't want to put this trap anywhere near your deck or outside tables - the beetles really swarm the trap.

Amazing Beetle Trap
This is the one beetle trap to get! Don't waste your time or money with the little green baggie traps from the local hardware store - those hang for the better part of a week before they are full enough to be emptied. Open the lure from this trap and within seconds there is a cloud of beetles! With three of these traps across my back yard, I gather over a gallon of beetles every day! A great way to put a dent in your beetle population and save your shrubs and flowering bushes!
