RegattaPadded Igniter Mens Hat

Bought to take to Canada in the winter, on a trip to see my son, but thanks to British Airways, never got there, but that’s another story.It will come in handy in my native north east when it gets colder than a witches you know what.Great hat, fits well (bought the large size, which fits my ordinary sized head), but it is adjustable so should fit most, as long as your head doesn’t have the circumference of a bin lid. Very warm and windproof, and not tested in the lashing rain, so can’t comment on its waterproofness. Overall, great hat, decent value, and would recommend for sure.

My partner is not one for woolly hats as they never stay on his head. He much prefers the ear flap design, but they're always so big and bulky, and not very discreet or practical to carry around. This Regatta design is the first time we've come across what I would call a slimline version. And it's great, especially as it can be folded into a pocket or bag without taking up too much space.The hat is fully adjustable with a strap at the back for tightening or loosening, and it also has a cord that goes under the chin for keeping the ear flaps in place on windy days.The outer shell is waterproof but breathable, while the inside is fleece lined for a warm and comfortable fit.This hat was a real find for us and we'll probably be getting one or two more for spares to keep in the car or in case of loss.

This hat is excellent. The adjustable velcro strap at the back of the hat enables you to tighten or loosen the hat as needed. Not only do the ear flaps completely cover and protect the ears, they extend along the jaw line, and I found this to be a bonus.The hat is super-lightweight and rolls up with ease or can be stuffed into a pocket or bag without compromising on its form, shape, or efficacy. It is completely waterproof and fleece-lined. It's very cosy and insulated.The short brim does prevent some rain from splattering you directly in the eyes, but if you wear glasses like I do and you pull the hat down low, you might find it somewhat uncomfortable. I got used to it before the day was through, and the aforementioned discomfort is far less than wearing a beanie over glasses.All in all I am well pleased with this hat and it suits my purposes perfectly.

Bought for my other half as he is usually on top of a mountain walking and needed something secure on his head. Other hats he normally wears have blown off in the wind and are not very waterproof, so I decided to buy this one for him. He was pleasantly surprised!! He likes that it is a snug fit as it stays in place in the wind and that he can secure it under his chin, he has been out in torrential rain wearing it and it keeps his head bone dry so a big thumbs up from the two of us. If you are looking for a good hat then you won't be disappointed with this one, worth every penny.

Light weight and warm. I work out doors in all weather and the hat’s I’ve had in the past have either been warm or waterproof, rarely both but this gem offers both and it’s breathable.

Brought this for work, needed a good waterproof hat as I'm out in all weathers.I have worn this hat in rain, hale and snow.The hat kept my head dry throughout all this weather.That the good part.Now the not good part..It's fit is extremely small for the size I bought.The hat might have kept my head dry but it didn't keep my head warm.The brim is of next to no use in keeping rain and hale out of your eyes and should be much bigger.This hat is not perfect but it's better than most but I'm still looking for something that meets my needs.

What a fantastic hat, it’s waterproof like advertised and it’s a great fit and it’s generally comfortable and warm. Perfect for when I’m out delivering for work.

this waterproof hat is good quality it keeps off even heavy rain and keeps your head warm in winter conditions overall a very good cap

My first Regatta cap is turning 24 years old soon. Since I got to know it, I keep buying and wearing only this make for skiing and any precipitous, rainy days.. Water repellent, sensibly keeps warm, having reasonable thickness, light and comfortable. Looks cool, feels good.
