Skeptical at first, however after 3 hours of assembally, I’m pretty happy with this. Here is the detail. It’s not solid wood, but i wasn’t expecting that for less than $200. You have to be careful with the screws... not stripping them in the mdf. Directions weren’t 100% great, but after some trial and error I’m ok. The rods themselves are plastic... and some of mine had a bow in them... do not think it will affect playability. I did have to bore out one of the guide holes, and shave the plastic ring down a touch with a razor knife. I also reinforced the table on my own to make it that much more sturdy. The players...4 of them, the holes on the bottom where they connect to the gears, i also had to hollow out a tic more. Again... for less than $200 I’m happy. Kids will love it for Christmas. If you arnt handy when it comes to assembally, then this could take you a half day to put together.

The rods seem to be a little flimsy and may have to mcgyver some plexiglass to keep the puck inside the rink

Very good quality on the game itself. As others have said, the players game rods are a thin plastic tube and bend very easily which affects how the players sit on the game board. All in all, very good quality for the price but wish the handles were a little stronger constructed.

Pretty good for the price, looks great once assembled. Hardware however wasn't numbered or labeled right. I was missing a washer. But overall Satisfied.

Game was double boxed and arrived with no issues. Directions were easy to read and it took about 45 minutes to set-up (we shop at IKEA so have assembled a lot of furniture). We were a bit worried about the quality, but it is on par with the Stiga game and the legs allow us to move around and play anywhere. If you want an inexpensive unit for the kids to play at home, this is a great option for under $200.

Bought this for our daughters(ages 5&8)who also play ice hockey, as a Christmas present. It is now February and played maybe a dozen times and lost a goalie, the player’s sticks no longer touch the platform so it can’t make contact with the puck, the score counter counts your finger fishing the puck out as a goal. I mean, for the price, you get what you pay for but we still expected it to last a little more than a month.
