The cables and connectors are fantastic quality. I did read a review where somebody noted that the connectors are plastic (could have been here or for the other Elite Core 3-Pin to 5-Pin converter or the Elite Core terminator pack). Not true. The connectors are metal and great quality. There is indeed a screw on cap which the cable passes through into the connector and that is made of plastic yes. But you should not be removing cables by pulling on the plastic caps or the cables so really no issue at all.

I just changed over all my xlr cables to DMX. Yes i was using mike cables for several years and realy didnt have any issues. I am now doing bigger venues and longer runs. So i went with a 500 foot roll of DMX cable and resoldered all the neutrik ends on them. But then i still needed some more cables at different lenghts. I found these at a price that seemed good and time was a factor. I recieved them quick and looked at them good and was impressed. If i needed any more i wouldnt think twice about buying them.I purchased Three 25 foot cables ( Acucable ) and then i found these for the same price i would have got four for a cheaper price.Have a great showFLASH

Works as advertised. They are less than professional grade, but then they are also priced that way too. I would not recommend these for a rental house, or pro that travels. They are good for consumers, occasional, light use, or maybe one time installs. They work for my light, occasional use.

I needed a bunch of DMX cables for a lesser price so I bought these. They are not anything special but they do the job. They are exactly what I needed on a budget. If you are running large networks for professional shows you may not want these cables. They do not appear to be exceptionally durable.

The most you can ask from any cable is that it is reliable, looks and fits well with no issues and does what it is expected to do. If you can get it at a good price. That's the most you can ask. This cable does that.

No hassles using this cable. When we used microphone cables they caused problems. I use terminators and a DMX spiller amplifier too.

Doing well after a few months of use! I have the 2' cables attached between PAR56 sized LED lights.
