This replaces a wedding gift my husband took in the divorce. It's not the same thickness and quality, but it's mine!

I ordered the 10” x 3” and it is perfect for about 4 people. The first I received had a gauge in it, but it was replaced with no problems and quickly.

Ordered this bowl for my mom as a replacement for the salad bowl she had used since the 1960s! That one finally broke in half. This one was perfect because she likes to make the dressing in the bottom of the bowl and then add salad and toss, and this one is wood without a heavy finish on it. This one is smallish, but that's good for her because it's just her now, so she doesn't need the giant bowl anymore. It's a birthday gift, so I haven't gotten her response yet, but I am sure she will love it.

I have the 12 inch version of this and it's gorgeous, but the 10 inch bowl I received was a much lighter color with a dull finish, so dull that I felt the need to oil it before using it. The 12 inch bowl had a nice sheen right out of the box. Pacific Merchants is burned into the bottom of it, but the 10 inch bowl has no logo on the bottom as if Pacific Merchants was not claiming an inferior product. It's perfect in shape and size for my needs. I got it to replace a bamboo salad bowl whose sealant was peeling, and I wanted something without a sealant. This is the perfect size bowl to eat a giant salad from, for lunch. It's thinner and lighter weight than the picture would suggest, but that works well for me.

Ordered two. One is perfect, the other is giving off a burnt BBQ-like, musky smell. After one use, the finish is coming off too.

Great feast gear for Larpers and reenactors depending on what you do. Mine goes camping with me and has survived everything from being drunkenly thrown down cliffs to being trampled by dragons to acting as a shield to block swords, axes, spears, and arrows. Also holds a ton of food, easy to clean and store.

Item came with a nick under the original packaging, in other words done in manufacturing, or perhaps packaging. In appearance it's not a big deal, but if more fibers will come off there, if it will grow and worsen with use as the nick's position makes it likely, I'm afraid Pacific Merchants, too, comes off my list of preferred manufacturers.

I ordered few month ago and waited for long time to arrive. It came today and 1 was broken during delivery time.I thought this bowl is more durable but it is not that much than I though. Now I'm afraid to care of this bown. Of course I don't put on dish washer but still store more careful.I ordered replacement today.
