This is just what I needed, and it works great.
I'm rarely so pleased with a product that I review it before Amazon prompts me to do it... but this is an exception.Last year I bought a Central Pneumatic (HF) #682619 Spray Gun Air Adjusting Valve for my DeVilbiss spray gun. I paint cars sometimes, and I'm purely a hobbyist. That little regulator worked fine, so when I purchased a touchup spray gun last fall ( an ATD Tools 6903 HVLP Mini Touch-Up Spray Gun) I thought I'd use the same HF on-the-gun regulator. So last week I bought one from HF. The gun wants 29 psi in, to get 10 psi out. Same as my bigger gun. I could NOT regulate the HF device. It would jump from 0 to 90 psi, with no hope of getting it right. So I took it back for an exchange. I tried again. I was able to get to 29 psi this time, but couldn't hold it. It was so sensitive that the barest touch would send the air pressure all over the board. I was really disappointed. So I checked online and found this Bostitch BTFP72326 Regulator. It had good reviews, and only cost about $3 more, even with Prime shipping. I put it on last night. Wow! It feels solid, adjusts well, is easy to read... it's perfect. I could not be more pleased. I'm regulating easily at 29 psi, but could have dialed in 5, 20, 30 or 50 just as easily. Very nice to adjust. So I'm taking my HF version back for a refund. I don't know why the one I bought last year worked well, and the last two didn't, but I'm not going to worry about it. I'll always buy this Bostitch in the future when I need one.

Perfect replacement for the OE regulator on my small Craftsman compressor - for 1/3 the price
Works so much better than my old one; the housing the gauge screwed into had split on the one that was on the Craftsman 1 gallon compressor when I purchased it. I don't need a huge compressor - just something capable of pumping up a tire, or running a nail gun. It worked great for eight years and then that housing split. I went on the Sears website to order a new one from parts - by the time they added shipping, etc., it came up to $48. A new compressor is only $110. So I started looking around, found this one for around $16. Was a bit hesitant, but went ahead and ordered it and it fits perfectly. The gauge on my old one was in a different place, but I was able to make this one work by just tilting the gauge up so I could see it. Fired it up - no leaks, shuts off perfectly as it should and holds pressure very accurately. Definitely worth the effort to save myself $36. No wonder Sears is in trouble.

Very Close Match to original.
This replaced the tool gauge in my Bostitch pancake compressor. It got smashed all to ( ). Easy to remove and install this piece. Came with its own thread dope already on the tread. Works great! It has been a few months now and are no problems.

Does a great job of regulation
I used this regulator to improve the performance of my DeWalt pancake compressor by attaching it in-line with the regulated outlet. My DeWalt regulator wasn't working properly and I had waited beyond the 30 days to return it to Amazon. This regulator works perfectly. There is no pressure creep and when using a high output 1/4" air nozzle the pressure drop is less than 10 psi. Definitely worth every penny of the price to get a decently regulated pressure. One downside is that the pot metal casting particularly around the threaded fittings is very thin and even slightly over tightening the pipe thread adapters into the regulator body will crack the casting. I did this and had to dab some epoxy on the inside threads to get a decent seal. If this remains an issue, I'll replace it and use a setting pipe compound and not twist so tight.

Both applications worked great. This is a true regulator
I've purchased 2 of these.. 1 to replace the regulator on a small compressor- the other to regulate my air pressure at a point of use location in my air system in my shop. Both applications worked great. This is a true regulator, not one that just shuts off a percentage of the opening. I use it for a coiled whip hose that cannot withstand the full pressure of my air compressor, so I can regulate it down to 120 psi.The gauge is primed with a "pipe dope" type compound to seal the threads. For the other 2 connections, you'll need teflon and pipe dope. I always use 2 wraps of teflon, then pipe dope, and I've never had any problems with air leaks. The one I installed on the small compressor is still being used by my Mom. That one is going on a year. For the price, these cannot be beat.

A little disappointed, but it still works
Got tired of going through cheap regulators from Menards. Paid a little extra for a brand name. Worked good for about 4 months, then acted like it blew a seal. Took it apart and a rubber seal had somehow came out of place. Put it back and so far has been working great again.

Saved buying a new air compressor.
Works well and was easy to install.

Practico y funcional
Fácil de armar, lo opere en serie con otro manómetro y la diferencia era menor de 5 psi considerando, considerando la graduación. Es necesario poner teflon y tener a la manos los conectores (cople, conector rapido, etc) necesarios para la instalación en el compresor.

Nice replacement
Purchased to replace a leaky regulator on a compressor. It fit perfectly and was an easy repair.

buen producto

Does its job
Works great. I bought this to regulate pressure coming out of an air tank I built for filling tires. It's accurate and does exactly what it's supposed to do.
