Extremely easy to setup to make days' worth of cold brew coffee. Designed to use 8oz. of coarse ground coffee and set on your counter for a day or a little more depending on the strength you want. Once done you flip it over and put the coffee in the refrigerator using the top portion of the coffee maker. Very reliable in flavor from each use. Totally hooked with the convenience of having either hot or cold coffee anytime. Great price too so I've also given this as a gift.

Purchased generation one, the hour glass- a bit cumbersome, particularly screwing the filter to the brew chamber and the seals leaked. 'Invested' in the original Body Brew system - finally received the redesigned product - less cumbersome, except screwing the filter to the brew chamber was no better - and the center piece connection to the extract chamber (where you store the coffee concentrate) finally cracked and leaked. Now this latest version has fixed the filter to brewing chamber connection. However, there are no longer marks on the brew chamber to indicate how far to screw on the Filter Cap/Base. Too little and it leaks; too much and it is difficult to unscrew to empty the filter. And the extract chamber now has a screw on base - huh? why? And it leaks unless you get the grommet just right. So would I buy another one? Damn . . . the taste of the coffee is really, really good.

I was so excited about this purchase…I had heard of this product years ago and ran across it on Amazon recently. Immediately ordered, but was skeptical as it is much cheaper than I recalled the product being. When I received it, I read the instructions, cleaned it, and tried to brew my first batch of coffee. Thankfully I decided to leave the BOD system inside my sink, juuuust in case it leaked a little. Boy, am I glad I did! About half of the water/coffee leaked out overnight. I checked all of my seals and tried again the following day, to the same result. Tried to reach out to the manufacturer, who I then learned has gone out of business. Save yourself time and frustration and skip ordering this product!
